You were out of order on this one. This is one of those situations where someone shouting orders at you is very much with your safety in mind. Being that close to departing trains is a real immediate danger and warrants being yelled at. Perhaps you should have thanked him instead.

I think you were over the top in this one in my humble opinion. We're all responsible for our own individual health and safety, but he was ultimately responsible for the health and safety of everyone in his line of site whilst carrying out his job of work. I personally think he didn't raise his voice aggressively, I think he was trying to make himself heard above all the usual background noise you get on a train platform. I think he was genuinely concerned for your safety and he would have been severely dealt with if you came to harm as a result of him giving you free reign to do what you wanted to do. His livelihood would have been in jeopardy. Keep aiming your frustrations at the idiots trying to restrict your public filming rights, they need putting in their place, that platform employee shouldn't have been a target. Just my opinion. Keep fighting for your legitimate rights, bit by bit it helps us all.

Whether you can or can't film in the ticket office, you should have respected their requests not to be filmed and focused upon, you don't know if there's a legitimate reason such a being DV escapees, foster carers looking after at risk children etc they don't want 'their' workplace plastered on the net. I remember once back in the days when I was commuting to work by train. Me and a bunch of other guys exiting the morning train were crossing a track where a train was slowly incoming. The train was like 200 meters away and moving approx 10kph so we were in absolutely no danger what so ever. However, some woman working there, sort of like this guy in the clip, went completely bananas and came running up to us while shouting like "don't cross the tracks, it's dangerous, you could get killed by a train" and all of us were like baffled. Her response was totally unmotivated, we were in no danger at all. Some of the people working there have no sense at all, had I not been so tired from communting in the morning I would've told her to calm the f- down. (However, in this clip AY was definitely closer to a train about to move but I think that "guard" working there should've used a different choice of words)
