It’s not proof and we don’t know if he removed these functions later, whether these functions actually saved his consciousness on there (it could be bt just a basic prerecording and predicting ai, as the speed and storage needed to transfer his actual consciousness is likely ridiculous) or if he could be remade from the data. I don’t think it’s a bad or unlikely theory but there’s no concrete proof it’s still a theory. why would bt stay silent after he was destroyed?

@ I see what you mean there-- I don't think Respawn ever actually CONFIRMED this theory. I will say that BT could have uploaded some substantial parts of his AI at a crazy speed though. This is a sci-fi where people can have their consciousness uploaded into synthetic bodies, like Ash did (just an ex. for the level of tech advancement). And "AI Functions" COULD mean just some simple functions like a prerecording, but helmet-BT does respond to Cooper's actions and environment accurately during Cause and Effect, so I think he uploaded a bit more than that. As to why they waited until the end-credits? Drama and sequel bait, I think. Too bad they never followed up :( (Edit: Also, even though this isn't a confirmed theory-- I think this is a very satisfying explanation. That's why it's my headcanon at least)

45:28 was actually sick as fuck: dodge the sword swipe (that probably would've killed you) by boosting into the air, then rain down a quad missile shot to finish him off. This is why I fuckin' love this game. I'm gonna have to boot it up again based on that moment alone. Hopefully the Playstation servers aren't totally dead, but if they are, fuck it, I gotta perfectly good campaign to play through.

A fantastic story campaign with some of the best graphics and level designs in any FPS games. And the couple of years playin multiplayer was unlike any other online shooter I've played, except for maybe Black Ops 2 or Escape From Tarkov. Dudes trollin other dudes, doin badass executions, designing your suit/Titan for your own look and colors, awesome wall runs, all while engaging in glorious Titanfall robot battles with each other. Even after all these years, you can really still feel the love and passion from the fans of Titanfall 2, so I'm really hopin some year they're finally pushed to make Titanfall 3. For anyone confused or sad, BT is actually still alive. If you watch the very end of the credits you can see a helmet light up and hear "Cooper" and the director stated that BT was gonna make a come back next game.

In early seasons of Apex Legends Leakers discovered a shipping container with pieces of a rebuilt BT inside it. The box couldn’t be opened obviously, and they had to glitch into it to even seen him. Apex takes place in the same universe as Titanfall. So somebody was attempting to rebuild BT, and remember BT uploaded some of himself into Coopers helmet. Theres alot of ways they could bring him back if they wanted to.

I actually did some research on why TitanFall 3 did not come out for class one time, so apparently it was in development, but they were trying to improve upon their multiplayer mechanics from this one. Apparently they fixed their multiplayer mechanics a little too well and this was around the time battle royales started taking off so the front office made a business decision. Which basically gave us Apex Legends. 🤣😭
