I've been doing this similarly with the aspect to extend focus skills by using rushing claw. And I've got just enough cool down for scourge to always be online and with rushing claw it's highly mobile with soar and hunter Edit: I have a GA lucky hit to make vulnerable instead of using stinger to apply vuln

Love this interaction. Running a secondary character with scourge/thorns, creates a similar effect of enemies melting just as soon as you get them in the green aura (using the aspect that applies thorns damage to enemies that move). 100% armored hide, scourge uptime just via tempering. Currently starting torment 3 with a * 1ga razor plate as my only 8/12 item (thanks rawhide scarcity). And when I say melt, I do mean just melt since there's an animation bug where enemies dying to thorns just sorta fade off the screen without playing their death animation 😂 Oh yeah, forgot to mention that mine is an evade build as the biggest hits come from evading through enemies. This scaling off crit gives you that double scaling property. And since your weapon damage comes into play via armor, that also gives you some great scaling. My thorns build really just scales off of barrier and thorn count, sadly.

I think you caught it in comments below and I see it in your build guide by Fell Soothsayer Aspect does the same thing as exploit glyph by applying vunerable to close enemies. Also Inevetiable Fate provides nice pops too without vunerable or Toxic Skin given the high damage add of Unyielding Hits aspect

I've been doing something similar. I hate using Jacinth Shell, so I've been using Seeker with Intricacy to reset cooldowns. With extra Seeker charges on jewelry, it's pretty much up all the time. It allows you to spam your skills. It also applies Vulnerable, opening up more options on gear. Also, since you don't have to build around losing life, it opens up the ability to swap Ravager and Stinger for Razor Wings. Razor Wings spiral out and if you have high crit chance, you can constantly proc Noxious Resonance with it.

Fun. Been toying around with it. I think it can be improved even further. For exemple, Soar for vulnerable and Rake with cooldown reduction instead of Stinger. With Soar, then it becomes a rune vs aspect decision to Vortex.

I might try this out! I just made a new SB build I have shattered vow and andarials visage trying to see what works with these 2. So far everything is being executed by poison but cooldowns is what’s messing me up and having to use a basic skill to restore vigor is annoying.

I always had a heart for off meta builds. Last season I played blood surge minions by Macrobioboi, now I'm building up this. I switched from my first spiritborn, which is crushing hand, to this on my second spiritborn (yes, I actually made two chars), where I tried rake thorns before which sucked. I have no gems and glyphs, para 195, and I'm already blasting through t3. My hp sustain is nothing compared with yours in that pit100 clear though, I wonder what level of gear you must have for this. But I'm looking forward to build this up since I'm having a blast. Only regret I have is not naming my second sb exiled or Poe just for the lulz XD

@DonTheCrown In my build, I’ve used a similar approach, but I tweaked the mechanics a bit. I’m using Scorn of the Earth (boots), Aspect of Turbulence, and Aspect of Exhilaration. My Soar becomes a evade that creates a vortex (which ensures I always have vulnerable enemies, I’m constantly unstoppable, guaranteed crits, 20x increased damage, and a permanent barrier). Thanks to the bugged Aspect of Exhilaration (I have 0% lucky chance, but whenever I hit an enemy, my dash resets), I can jump around like a frog and avoid taking hits. I use Shroud of False Death for extra damage, and thanks to Intracy after my ultimate, I get several free casts to spam Scourge. If Hunter triggers a cooldown reset, it gets even better. I’ve managed to reduce my cooldown so much that I practically have no uptime on Toxic Skin. It’s awesome! :) Unfortunately we can't do trillons of dmg like smg's spaming missiles from quill voley but It's way more fun!

It doesn't really feel like RF, i would say, more llike D2 Necro poison nova mixed with D3 Pestilent swarm WD (which makes the build even better because rf is boring) What i don't like is bossing tho, If i clear pit80 in 2 minutes, it still takes time to kill the boss.. Also constant hp degen is a bit annoying on bosses

midday hunt would actually lower your damage by a ton, we want to apply poison and pop it off with Noxious Resonance for huge damage, midday hunt makes poisons tick much much faster which reduces our pop damage

@DonTheCrown gotcha. So I took your build and added temerity, got rid of vortex, and replaced it with the hunter, going for "intricacy" where you can use a skill three times for free. It works amazing for adding scourge stacks. Since the hunter resets frequently, you can get an insane amount of scourge / toxic skin stacks. In place of vortex, I use chance to freeze on my gloves and put in the vortex rune. It's fun, but you run around with nothing but a barrier, as cooldown frequency overpowers health regeneration by a lot.

Vicious shield and redirecting are just massive multiplier, when they fix them a lot of SB builds are going to be in massive trouble

i love poison build compare that funkiller quill build(make the game so easy) the cons about this build is, vortex stun much shorter than fear effect, i need use rune for vortex(double vortex) or petrify rune. which it gonna cost me rune slot, my other rune slot for 20%max health+non chanel core. but ngl, this build easy produce 15 billion damage. just not trillion(which i dont prefer because kill the fun, and i not chase pit 120 above)

I created similae build with Stinger and pestilence with midnight sun. It is like scaling back and forth but didnt like the gameplay oh well
