If it's a number like 19*15 the easiest thing to do is multiply 15 by 20=300 and subtract 15. For like 16*18 you can do 16*20=360 and then subtract 32 or 16*2. Or if numbers like 13*21 you can do 20*13=260 plus 13 which equals 273.

Question regarding your second example of 15*19, I elected to use Base 20 and followed the steps you described in this video and a previous video. The deviation for 15 from 20 is -5 and the deviation for 19 from 20 is -1. When I sum either two terms the result is 14. The product of the two deviations is 5. I noted that the product is a single digit as there is only one zero in the base. But the overall answer of 145 is incorrect. What am I doing wrong?

Bro this method can be derived like what i have show below: Consider 102 and 103 , multiplying both is the same as multiplying (100+2 )x(100+3) Hence when you multiply so we would get some thing like: (100x100)+3(100)+2(100)+(2x3) which is equal to :- 100(100)+5(100)+2x3 so here you can notice hat what happens here is a long version of what is actually thought in the video above. (100+5)(100)+(2x3) =[100+(2+3)](100)+(2x3) so if you consider 3 and 2 as x and y, then the formula can be framed as (100+x)(100+y)=[100+(x+y)](100)+(xy) [ where x and y can be any integers ] you can even change the base bro.......i mean the 100. and yes the base is taken as a multiple of 10 to make it easier to calculate.
