what about multiplication of a 3 digit number with 99? You seem to have taken same digit numbers always, eg : 23 x 99 , 256 x 999 . What about 378 x 99 for example ?

There is easier way for example. 45348 times 99999. You can just do one less than 45348 which is 45347 then see how much more those digits need to become 9. Which is 54652. So the awnser is 4534754652

If you're going to multiply any number with the number nearly the base Like ' any number * 98,99,101,999 ' STEP .1 Just multiply the main number to the nearest base of the the other number. STEP .2 The main number ± (the main number * the difference between the base and the second number) (according the situation) Note : If you have second number nearly the base (1st situation - if it's greater than the base just do STEP 2. with +) (2nd situation - if it's less than the base do the STEP 2. with -) Example - [ like if you have 102*76 Step 1 - 76*100 = 7600 Step 2 - 7600 + 76*2 = 7600 + 152 = 7752 ] It looks like very long method but it's too easy. 👍🏻
