Zoltan plainly describes our lives, with humor. He says what I've been trying to vocalize for months now. The world is not the same as it was a few years ago and everyone feels it. Life will never be the same again. It's not like everything used to be peaches and cream and puppies and kittens. But it sure didn't have that underlying darkness like it does now. Whatever you do, don't isolate. We need each other. Even if we feel awkward. Everyone feels awkward and it's OK.

I agree. a strange darkness everyone feels but doesn't quite understand. that said, I think it was right after the 90's that quality of life started declining in the west. people dont really take much notice of it but the type of "stories" in movies and even music that are on average popular in their times are really telling to how optimistic we are collectively about our future or what we think or feel about the society we live in right now. remember all the incredibly silly nonsensical comedy movies of the 90's and early 2000's? I really have no clue what the future will bring at all. I hope it'll get better.

Hogwash. Read history and get educated. We're living through absolute bliss compared to countless spans in history. Hell, even the late 60s and early 70s were horrific in the US compared to this cake walk. Seriously, go get some perspective.

@@larsfaye292 yes its such hogwash that suicides have never been higher. Even the CDC says its at a literal all time high. And here you are...claiming people decide to off themselves at record numbers because life is great right now. LOL Almost every generation alive today KNOWS that things "used to be better".
