Ok, that's how its done. Love the colors looks fun to do. Notice it was still soft after done how you let it sit to cure to become hard. Lisa

It's a lovely design! Thank you for sharing with us. Quick question does the 3D paint scratch and wear at all with time? Would top coating it help to preserve it? Many thanks

These are adorable ! Tysmfs😍 I recently got the alphabet mold and I'm trying to learn different ways to use them. Love how these turned out. I have a question tho, why did you pull the fabric puff paint off of the one?
@KrislieDIY4 жыл бұрын
I’m just comparing the difference for each one , if that’s what you’re asking ☺️

Krislie what do you call the little backing you put on the back of the letters? The peice you put the jump ring on. Great and fun work as always!

@FancyBelle19134 жыл бұрын
@@KrislieDIY yes that's it. I looked through the comments on your other video and someone asked the same question. This is perfect and will be SO much easier than drilling that little hole. Thank you SO MUCH for responding

It actually shows in the video but I guess it’s too small 😁,,,, but yeah I use earring bails now ,,,since I experience cracking on my keychains ,,,

My puffy 3D paint - the exact one you use is not drying all the way, it’s like if I pressed it the finger print/nail would indent it. What am I doing wrong?

did you use heatgun ? To dry it ?

Can you do the drip with colored resin? & where'd you find the 3D paint?
@KrislieDIY4 жыл бұрын
I got it at Walmart ,,, if I use the resin for the drip it’s gonna be a lot of time to cure again ,,but yeah it’s gonna work too but it’s gonna be like a little messy ,,,

any craft store in the paint section, dimensional fabric paint.

Can I use acrylic paint for the dripping effect?
@KrislieDIY4 жыл бұрын
Yeah you can but it’s not gonna last that long tho ,,unless your gonna pour a little bit of resin on it
@suegore59293 жыл бұрын
it won't be dimensional, only dimensional fabric paint would work.

Is it better to heat up part A 1st instead of the whole thing?
@KrislieDIY4 жыл бұрын
If I add color on it I only heat up the resin ,,, but if I do a clear one I heat up the resin first the heat but of them and stir it slowly ,,,
@carolstewart17043 жыл бұрын
She only does the thicker part A bc if u do both it can cure too quickly, drastically reducing ur work time and possibly flash curing it esp if she did them while alrdy together.. (instd of heat one and the other seperate and then putting them together) but here u see she only uses the one cup for both..
@carolstewart17043 жыл бұрын
I use a crock pot full of water and set it to low to warm up a lil then place my bottles of resin (both A and B ) in the pot for a few minutes, then take them out and dry the bottles of water immediately.. I chk to make sure they aren't too hot (can leave them to cool off if they are) then I'll measure each out in cups then add them in third cup to mix... I stir slowly in one direction touching the bottom of the cup the entire time and scraping the sides occasionally for at least three minutes and get very good results 😁 (I DO use a wooden stir stick but I use one that I have alrdy coated with epoxy resin beforehand and reuse it over and over again 😜)

It’s not fully cured yet so it’s flexible , if you wait longer then it’s gonna be hard

Cute, but you should be wearing gloves as an instruction video, and the paint will peel off, I guarantee it. I would coat it with UV resin.
@carolstewart17043 жыл бұрын
She would have to coat it with epoxy resin actually bc uv resin would also peel off the epoxy resin letter 😬
