Very, very nice! Beautiful vase! Here's a tip for you to make it easy to clean the bottom of glazed pieces. Get something like a kitty litter box and cut a piece of carpet to fit inside. Then add enough water to thoroughly saturate the carpet. Then just drag the bottom of your piece back and forth over the carpet and The glaze will wipe off very nicely and evenly. It's quick, easy, and effective! Keep up the good work!

@@lifeandclay I learned that from a potter on KZbin years ago. Thought it was brilliant, and so simple! I wish I could remember who it was so I could give them credit, but I'm happy to pass it on. There's such a wealth of knowledge at our fingertips these days!

Yes, that’s true. Honestly, more than half of what I learned is from KZbin, from cooking to pottery haha

I’m making one of these next time I throw (I definitely won’t be able to do it the first time)

It’s not as difficult as it looks. Make sure your walls are not very far from one another and wall inside should be taller. Good luck, have fun with it ☺️ 🍀

It’s beautiful, though you should really try waxing the bottom of your piece before dipping it in glaze that way clean up is easier and safer, great work!

Thank you! I think it was actually first time I didn’t wax a bottom, it was getting late and I thought it will be faster 😅 It wasn’t lol
