As a temporary employee of the big three, I can agree that things are not getting better and the union is just falling apart. As a temporary employee I have very little rights and with only full time works heading the uaw they don't care about the lower level workers.

Back in the 70's my mom was staying with a friend in the Kansas City area. As they were talking, a brick came through the front window of the house. It turns out that the husband of my mom's friend was working as a scab, and the union did not appreciate that.

I like this channel alot, but they aren't the best. In fact, this particular clip showcases the ignorance of James Pumfrey... who I genuinely like. These kids obviously work hard on their videos, but they pop off with seriously leftist opinion about commerce, manufacturing, and business management. Like so many other Hollywood personalities, they seem to embrace, ignore and showcase socialist values simultaneously. I really enjoy the content, but despise some of the opinions they share. Anyway, just one fans opinion.

I don't know if the whole "hmm sounds familiar" thing works when you're comparing people getting framed as rioters in an era where unions were taboo to people... actually rioting, smashing up businesses and looting en mass, etc.
@Nickscozzari3 жыл бұрын
Yeah apparently all of this sounds familiar to James. Typical liberal. Love the channel, wish they could keep their political opinions to themselves. I used to really enjoy watching James and Nolan before, when they stuck to teaching the people about cars..
@stevebutters3063 жыл бұрын
@@Nickscozzari I still like em and can separate their politics from the show, and to be fair, they do keep it to a minimum unlike a lot of content creators who think they're political analysts because they've got 100k subscribers. But if you're gonna do all of this research for a video like this, you look like a boob when you then go making rockbrained political claims.

@chazzbranigaan93542 жыл бұрын
God the Jeff Bezos thing at 25:00 hurt to watch. I thought James was bringing it up ironically at first cuz its something of a copy pasta meme. Besides the rudimentary math, that not a single one of them could solve for over a minute in their head, it speaks to a larger issue of the average population and their understanding of the money supply. To even think for a second that there is any way to distribute the world money supply that everyone could be a billionaire, let alone that one guy harbors all that wealth, shows a level of cognition so low that the person could never truly grasp the intricacies of the macro economy on any real level. Yet these same people will gladly tell you how they think the world should be run. not speaking of the Donut hosts in particular because they are not political at all but I would consider them above average intelligence but again once an actual cognitively complex topic is brought up the crumble. Scary to think.

@Automatedresponsebot53 жыл бұрын
..... wages are stagnant. Cost of living is disproportionately higher than wages. Yes, working conditions are exponentially safer than they were damn near a century ago, but the cost of living still drastically unaffordable for the working class.
