Blue Crucible takes place at the earliest point in the timeline, right on the day of the nuclear apocalypse known as the Fall. Columbia, Missouri manages to avoid getting nuked, but the Mega Corporations that started the nuke war are fighting over the city, and the cops just can't let that stand. I'm currently working on the sequel, Blue Salvation, with the plan to have it finished and turned in to the editor toward the end of this month. I don't know if you get up to any hunting at all, but a damn good snack is duck breast stuffed with cream cheese and jalapeno gold jelly wrapped in bacon. You marinate it with whatever, but the stuff grilled up just enough so the bacon is cooked is an awesome thing to add onto any kind of bbq meal
