Never rush at a ramp, especially if your new. I know he mentions about backing up a busy ramp, but also remeber you have some new expensive toys. Take your time and dont let people rush you. A few extra minutes will not hurt anyone. Practice backing a trailer in a parking lot somewhere, pre load all your stuff, take your time unloading your trailer. You will get faster with time.

0:35 NEVER START ENGINE OUT OF WATER FOR MORE THEN 3 MINS, THAT WILL CAUSE SIGNIFICANT DAMAGE TO THE ENGINE AND IMPELLER , instead of starting the engine u can pres the green start button one time really quick and the power will turn on without turning the engine on, if it doesn't start you know r battery is dead ,(:

One point that should be mentioned that most 1st time owners don't understand is NEVER start or run the ski in less than 3ft of water. Jet skis are big vacuum's on water and will suck up a rock and end the day before it ever gets started. Get the ski to 3ft of water or more and you will be fine.

And give it another quick start while you're unstrapping in the prep lane. Because funny things sometimes happen in transit, and you don't wanna be that guy sitting there trying to get it started just after dropping it in the H2O. Because you ALWAYS spot that poor bugger at the ramp and he's thinking "It started fine in the driveway"

You can totally do it solo. Really long mooring lines help. Back your trailer into the water and release it from the trailer as shown, all while holding onto the mooring line so your jet ski won’t drift away. Then walk yourself onto the dock while holding the line and secure it to the cleats. Then drive your trailer out, park, and return to your moored jet ski. This is the same procedure I’ve used to launch boats solo.
