Antara Nandy, a beautiful and dulcet voice picked by Rahman and he set a big stage for her. Without any doubt this is his one of the significant composition. Lets dive into some interludes , mix , arrangements and some admirable moments. 0:00 - 0:18 the orchestra waves while the chimes comes on and off. 0:20 - 0:30 the strings, tabla and claves ( this runs throughout the track) 1:38 - 2:06 ohhhh god, this viola piece of music. Its like the SOUND OF WAVE and the drum hitting on right point. the rising vocals 1:54 idk if its flute or smthng in the left ear it sing very mildly. THIS IS RAHMAN. 2:28 - 2:48 delicious melody. Antara Nandy supremacy . 3:04 - 3:09 the bass string mix is outstanding, this is truly a cinematic piece. 3:31 - 3:46 listening to the strings I'm ready to get docile. 3:47 - 4:02 the tune is kind of melancholic, shes expressing from the deep heart 4:48 bye bye note. this work of Rahman's is a breeze of the ocean and shy of the giant waves. I'm waiting to experience this in a cinema.....

It's the novelist - kalki sir who wrote lyrics himself ..denoting there is a song there which readers add their own tunes in mind and read further..there is one more great song coming ....in ps1. It's all done by kalki!! Beauty of 2500 pages novel. It's not kalki sir lyrics but he wanted us to imagine a song there!! Music is expression of emotion those days... Kalki sir made people go through all of the emotions... 1. Kaveri se milne - vanthiyathevan admiring beauty of chola kingdom 2. Chola chola - aditha karikalan's warriorship, love, courage and majesticity 3. Bol - 2 great royal friends riding a boat and talking girly things and about lover - musical conversation as per kalki sir 4. Dube dube - poonguzhazhi - the boat girl's longing - she loves raja raja chola (kalki wrote similar lyrics as a song) 5. Context - Poonkuzhali is a boat woman who is really care free and has rowed boats since forever. The ocean is her father and prince Arunmozhi Varma (Rajaraja chola 1) called her "samudrakumari" or ocean princess. She has been in love with him since then and this burning love is engulfing her. This is the song she sings when she is alone and sad. Poonkuzhali is a character who hates men/people in general and wishes that the entire world would go up in flames. The team needs to find more skilled lyricists for dubbed songs in hindi. The lyrics are meaningful but not catchy. The words are not so perfect to deliver the emotions sharp. I know its a tough job in short time to make a song with exact same meaning on same composition but I wish that some really talented guy come to light for this task. Have to agree, ARR music always slow poison. 1st time listen normal, 2nd time revisit, 3rd time listening to each bits, 4th get addicted. I listened all 6 songs tamil version, each are unique, easily can get addicted. I listened in other languages, i believe other language audience would feel same vibe. I am not sure how the lyrics are, but believe it will be quality, classfull lyrics since having same music.
