Despite the lack of exploration you get to do in the city, the city starts off in such a nice way. It reminds me of the early city escape from the last of us.

It certainly is. I last played it on inferno (pure run) and I almost crushed my fuckin controller with my skull. I'm done with it. Lol.

@@rodriga1985 the final Nemesis fight on inferno was insanely hard like that game had me cussing Jill out lmfao. but once i got the survival book thingy from the in-game shop to help you perform dodges better it was actually kinda easy so there's a little tip for you if you wanna try again

I don't really get the gripe over grenades being problem solvers, they were incredibly powerful in RE4 once you realized flashbangs instakill some of the most annoying, massed enemies in it as well. Explosives have always been the 'Delete Enemy' button.

I think the problem was more so that all it took was one grenade to stop Nemesis, the indestructible tyrant known for being incredibly durable and unrelenting. Imo if grenades were gonna be this powerful they needed to be more scarce, not available almost every time you run into Nemmy.

I've always felt that Nightmare mode on RE3 Remake is the true way to play the game. It's somewhat more linear than Standard & Hardcore.

Dude max clear distaste for this game is so tedious to hear i personally loved this game, sure it was more cinematic but it still remained faithful and fun. But all i hear is constant complaining with him it's very frustrating.

Lateef Hicks there were some parts of the game he liked and he wanted to give it a real chance. he explains right at the start of the video that people told him playing on nightmare would be a better experience.

Personally, I found this game to better than RE2 Remake. Resident Evil as a franchise isn't much of a horror franchise. It's always been too cheesy for that. Besides, RE3 was always the action-packed entry on the PS1. This game has minimal attempts at scares which is for the best.

I’m playing RE2R for the first time and honestly, it’s a breath of fresh air after RE3. I’m having a blast with it. But granted, everyone has their different experiences. For me, this game really let me down. This was more of a reboot or reimagining of the original game than a fully fleshed out remake. I have the most fond memories with the original RE3 (watched my uncles play it all the time when I was toddler). Nemesis was actually scary back then. I’d much rather play the classic RE3 than this “remake.”
