The English translation is far away from the true meaning. Just the countries like RUSSIA, Bulgaria that use the cyrilyc alphabet could really understand it as the words that are used cant be explained with their true meaning in english.

I'm just curious, why this song in Russian? Isn't FMA universe is like, Germany? It's beautiful but I will never not crying and having my heart broke whenever I read the meaning huhu. The music for FMA was recorded at the Mosfilm tone studio. Composer Michiru Oshima has worked with the Russian Orchestra. Tatiana Naumova, a russian specialist in Japanese culture and organizer of this joint venture, composed the Russian lyrics for the song "Brothers", which can be heard in the finale of the 3rd episode. It was performed by the choir "Vera"(Faith) I want to make a clarification. The original author of the text in Japanese was FMA 03 Director Seiji Mizushima. Tatiana was the author equirhythmic translation into Russian. However, thanks to her contribution, this song sounds the way it sounds and we love it that way, so I think Tatiana can be considered a co-author.
