I've pretty much said that I'm letting my Steve image be in public domain. Mojang owns the character Steve, I own this artwork, but it's been used in so many Minecraft related items in the community (now including a GameGrumps thumbnail!) that it would be ridiculous for me to try and seek royalties. I've got far more enjoyment seeing my little image be used every now and then on the internet than I would in trying to get people like GameGrumps to give me a few thousand dollars for using my artwork without my permission, along with the thousands of other people who have done the same.

My chain of replies to my original post were actually replies to someone who was accusing me of lying and then asked why I am not seeking royalties, but for some reason they deleted their original posts after I've written out my replies. It's not me trying to market myself, if I was trying to market myself I'd be talking about my actual career, not some 3D render I made in 2012. If you're thinking I shouldn't really say anything at all as it's not a big deal that they used my image, I think it is a big deal because I am a fan of the Grumps and now something that I've made is a very, very small part of GameGrumps history. When they were talking about how Minecraft used to be scary, it reminded me of my first time playing the game. It was getting to night time and I didn't know how to play the game yet, so I hurriedly built a little hut that was connected to a cave, but it was dark so I didn't know the cave was connected. I started hearing spooky sounds really close by and I turned around. I didn't know spider eyes glowed, and there was a spider peeking into the hole.
