Beautiful bright colors in this Under the Sea pad! The stamps used are pretty cute too, especially the little pirates! Thanks for sharing your creative magic!

Thank you, Carol! My husband gets the credit for finding my music. I just tell him the style I want and he usually does a great job. :)

Hey Kristie Loving your videos. Would you please do a video explaining how you have your camera set up. You have the best, clear angle I've seen. Thanks! Creative Blessings!
@KristieMarcotte8 жыл бұрын
+Kelly Henkins Thank you! Perhaps I will do a video showing my setup someday. But it's really not anything fancy. I use a couple of shop lights for my lighting and my camera is hooked to a post on the ceiling and hangs directly over my desk. It works great since nothing is in my way while I make cards.

+galecrafts - ( The Happy Stamper ) Thank you! There are lots of awesome card sketches sites online. I have a list of some of my favorites on my blog. And links to all the sketches I used in the video are also listed in the blog post.

Such a great tutorial! Do you need to request permissions to use the card sketches? I was hoping to try some for my own blog but I don't want to break any rules! Thanks in advance.
@KristieMarcotte7 жыл бұрын
Thank you! I'm not sure if it's required to ask permission first. But because I use someone else's images, I think it's the right thing to do. So, yes, I did personally request to use the card sketches in my videos, as well as on my blog. Always give credit where credit is due. :)

Kristie Marcotte Thanks for the reply. I agree 100%, which is why I wanted to ask as I am still acclimating to blogging. Looking forward to watching more cards series tutorials!

Hi have you made a video using the doodlebug 6x6 page for fairy tales or dragon tales?? Your videos are fantastic!!
@KristieMarcotte7 жыл бұрын
Thank you, Norma! I'm glad you are enjoying my videos. I haven't made any videos using either of those collections yet. I did just finish the Fairy Tales 6x6. However, I did not record the process since I've been working on it on and off for the past month. Instead I will be sharing the cards on my blog. I have considered doing a video using the Dragon Tails though. :)

I am curious about the sizes of your circle and oval punches. Yours are graduated so closely. I only have the large, medium and small sizes. Which ones do you recommend?
@KristieMarcotte8 жыл бұрын
I use circle and oval die cuts, rather than punches. Mine are from Spellbinders, but there are lots of other companies that carry circle and oval die cuts. Usually there are 2 sets to purchase so you can have the close size for matting.

What do you do with all the cards you make?
@KristieMarcotte7 жыл бұрын
Hello. I donate many of my cards to my church and local nursing/retirement homes. I put together card baskets to donate for different silent auction fundraisers. I love to give boxes of cards as gifts for family and friends. And I also use many cards to personally send out to people. There always seems to be a NEED for handmade cards.

had you made videos using 12 x 12 stacks?
@KristieMarcotte8 жыл бұрын
I don't use 12 x 12 paper pads. I prefer the smaller pattern designs on the 6x6's.
@KaBoom.V8 жыл бұрын
Kristie Marcotte thank you. I'm actually just going to cut my stacks into 6x6 pieces and go from there. Your videos are great!
@KristieMarcotte8 жыл бұрын
Thank you! I've heard of many people cutting their 12 x 12 down to 6x6 size. Years ago, I used to have lots of 12 x12's, but gave them away when I started using the smaller paper pads. Happy crafting to you!
