I guess that's what can happen when you go out shooting large, dangerous game. Now and again one will get back at you for what you're doing but luckily for the well being of the animals generally, there are people willing to take that risk to get the job done. Culls aren't nice but they are a requirement. A lot of people don't understand fully how life works in Africa. Shooting is the lesser of two evils in many cases and is an important way to keep a healthy balance. I too think buffalo are one of the most amazing creatures on the planet, but I would also like to experience shooting one. Not for a trophy, I'm not interested in that, but just to know that I've saved such an amazing creature from being torn apart by lions and hyenas. A natural death in Africa is rarely pleasant, in fact it is generally pretty horrific! These old bulls are at the end of their days and a time of extreme suffering is very near, that's why they are shot.

@@dscrappygolani7981 Wow, some sergeant gave me an Uzi in 1984, but he wanted it back, when I left the army. He kept it in some room with all kinds of locks, we did not get a chance to hunt, somehow. Robbing banks would be easy with a platoon of soldiers, but somehow we never did. Those bank robber hotels are boring, checking in and staying inside for years, no thanks. I don't remember that trigger thing. In those Cold War days there were times when protesters could target our base. It never happened, but those guard days were better than the usual days. Just being the security is routine, important enough, but hippies cutting a fence and spraying "Nukes? No Thanks!" on army trucks? Great! Welcome, please spray paint my Landrover, too! I want it pink. Wait, I'll show you where it is, it's a brand new one, right from the UK. That's good for the newspaper pictures. While you do the grafitty, you could better call the press, for we can do three things now. Option one, you run back to that fence and you escape. We are legally allowed to shoot you, if you resist us arresting you, but both you and I know very well that is not the best news for our Defense Minister. So you are going to escape and we report we saw you, but you would not listen and ran away fast. Hopped in a car without any license plates and gone. Sorry, we run, but hitting that hippy is exactly what gets us on the nine o'clock news. Sorry we could not get her in time, she was just too far off. We did try, though. Option two is you get arrested. That way you are more of a news item. But you will get an entry in your criminal record. Won't you? Think about that. Option one is still open. But we can go to the security office at the main gate, and that circus you came for will start. Be our guest. Officially we must arrest you, but we could leave the formalities to the sergeant. As long as you walk with us, why not keep it friendly? Option three is nastier. Those trucks are all diesel, but if you set fire to that Volkswagen Transporter, or start damaging something bigger, say, a building, you will get way more media attention. Downside is, now we two soldiers walk this patrol, I can friendly talk to you. As long as you behave friendly too, there is still no problem. We can even pretend we haven't seen you painting stuff, so you are just tresspassing, and we quietely walk you to the gate. If you are very lucky, you can fool the sergeant, telling the back gate is not properly closed, seeing us patroling, so entering the base for telling us the gate problem. It is sketchy, a strange story. But your real problem is, we need to alarm the sergeant by now anyway. He wil call a luitennant, that luitennant will call a major, that major will call a colonel and that colonel won't call our general, because they share an office, so he will say "Dick, we have a Nukes No Thanks visitor at our base, right now!" (Dick is a normal boys name. Like Bill, which sounds exactly like our word for buttock. But that's a story in a story.) They will all be here in fifteen minutes. And plan YY-8-WD will take effect within 5 minutes and that involves a lot of shouting, pushing you to the ground, accidentally spraying you pink, just because the military police will think your spray paint container looks like a shockwave type handgranate. I predict you, at least five mistakes like that will get you very angry, giving them an excuse to use violence against you. Mad hippy arrested, instead of Peaceful Nukes No Thanks action at army base. If you go for really damaging military property, we'll have no choice than plan YY-8-WD. And it only happened in my head. The part of this story that actually is true, is a sergeant warning us how NOT to deliver a warning shot. After shouting "Halt, or violence will be used!" we were supposed to give a warning shot. And that sergeant told us, in a building, shoot through the top window. You do not want a cloud of concrete scrap coming down. Do not shoot straight up in a building, that is stupid. So, in case you need a warning shot, please think about that ceiling. And don't think you're some movie hero, if somebody comes tresspassing here, alarm your sergeant, keep your eyes open and keep a save distance. You never know what could happen, and let's hope it's just a harmless protest. They never came there.

I am so tired of anti hunters saying they don't use the meat they give it to starving Africans. I find you guys to be a joke so against hunters who actually use the meat. The same people who won't stand up to unjustified wars over natural resources the USA has. The same people who won't stand up to the poor USA health care. The same people who see USA poverty is crazy 13.5 percent and won't stand up. The same people who won't stand up to propaganda in our schools. The same people who sweep it under the rug USA is most racist country on Earth. the USA is only number 28 in the world for education. The USA in reality is like number 35 economy. The USA has such shit health care that over 30 country's in the world have better health care. The USA has trigger happy cops most racist to. A cop almost always gets aquited with cameras even . The judges are. Crooked as hell. I think you need to get your head clear I eat every animal I shoot.

I tell the anti hunters what hypocrites they are, for screaming "murder" at one legally hunted elephant or buffalo - yet DO NOTHING but condone the daily mass slaughter of captive-bred animals - purely for their convenience, consumption and exploitation - at their local abbatoir!! Same goes for the hypocritical vegans!! Clearing land (and displacing native species) for their exclusive use to grow vegetables!! Killing even the bugs that try to eat those veggies!! Even growing veggies at home, vegans use meat products - because where does the fertiliser come from to grow their veggies? From the pounded up blood, bone, guts and eyeballs of those animals slaughtered at their local abbatoir!! Unless every damn anti-hunter and vegan truly follows the culmination of their beliefs, and turn their backs on society and ALL it's benefits - and return to living like monkeys in the trees - they're ALL just FUCKING HYPOCRITES!! PERIOD!! 👍

His narrating has a lit to be desired. Hard to follow. And who in their right mind would walk up to a Buffalo with a underpowered rifle?

Damn dude. I'd be pissed. A second rifle but your friend freezes up on it. Hahahah a secondary weapon is never a bad idea. Maybe a big ass revolver of a sort. Or a really big sharp knife.
