The waterproof plug creates a vacuum when they are inserted. If you unplug the mirco usb plug on the bottom the speakers get very loud. It might annoy some people but the sound is night and day compared to when it's plugged in.

To get rid of hanging cat. Long press home screen click on Launcher Settings then click on "Know on Home Screen" to turn off the cat.

Or just use a different launcher. Cause the doogee one is horrible looking.

Bought a DOOGEE S30 for the missus and its amazing. Everything I'd ever want or need in a phone myself, and only £100?! So impressed that Ive bought a DOOGEE S60 for myself to replace my ageing Samsung Note 3. Can't wait to see how the extra specs pan out relative to the S30. Great review btw.

So I've now got an S30 and an S60 in the household. Both have outstanding build quality and are super slick in use. I've set up all my apps, credentials and email and social media etc, no problems at all. Kind of difficult to review both when they both just work. Can't believe what I have here for the money.

I am considering maybe getting one to replace my Runbo F1 phone that I have had for about 2 years now, and while I am mostly happy with it, it does have some issues ( rubber falling off, not able to listen to radio, pauses music on it´s own when using wired headphones, augmented reality not working e.t.c ), wich is why I am looking into other rugged phones.

I'm using the phone and it's great . The main issue was to place the micro SIM cards without any manual , the simcard slot is dual so you must place the 2 simcards in the same slot.

No, same place, one sits on top of the other and they are inserted differently. Look on the black backing next to where you place SIM and it will show you how and for which 1 or 2.

Before buying Doogee, google "has anyone ever received a response from Doogee?" Sent numerous emails to their website contacts but only one response and that person never got back to me again. If your phone stops working or has any issues, they are no help as they are uncontactable. But don't believe me, google what experiences other people have had when trying to contact them for help and support. Doogee, you giving Chinese businesses a very bad name. Doogee = Dodgee

removing the left menu from the screen requires uninstalling the "doogee" application, which in turn requires you to change the launcher

I have owned this phone for less then a year and have to replace the glass on it but I must say it is TOUGH. I'm in the military and travel alot so the dual SIM is great. Tested waterproof from rain and swimming, drop proof for sure and all around man phone. DISLIKES: SOS button and camera buttons are very annoying, you can disarm the SOS button but not the camera button on the side so when your phone is in your pocket, it may be taking photos and draining battery. When your having a phone conversation, you literally need to have it right next to your face for the other party to hear you. 3.5 out of 5 for practical use, 5 out of 5 for toughness

The backlight on my screen does not turn off in sleep mode. It is draining the battery in less than 3 hours. Anybody else experience this? Agree the volume in phone use is not very good. Very hard to hear.

hey man, just press and hold on the home screen and go to launcher settings. it will give you an option to turn off the kitty. ittook me a while to find it too lol. but I figured id help you out. +BilderB there is a back plate covering the SIM trays and the micro SD card slot. You have to remove two screws to get to those.

Have you dropped it ? How rugged is it really ? If you drop it waist high, and it lands on its edge or corner, will the screen break ? Have you tried taking a picture from under water ? Who is willing to risk that ?

Rahul Khurana bad idea, they are the reason why it's waterproof and P68 approved. Removing them puts your phone at risk to water damage

James Tetzlaff it will work with AT&T but it is slow. After the phone was set up the settings was still on European we had to go through the settings and transfer it all over to American Settings. The AT&T manager had to do it all

That might have to do with your phone provider I had that issue when I had net10 I was on AT&t service with that texting problem, I switch to simple Mobile on T-Mobile towers with no problems

To be 100% honest, I would say no. It just has too many little issues with it for me to recommend it to anyone. If you buy it overseas from Gearbest (or a similar company), the price is more reasonable, but on Amazon it is way too expensive IMO.

Absolutely horrendous. After two weeks of use it became slow, unresponsive and many features won't work such as the finger print and the NFC. It also switches itself off from time to time.

A lot of Doogee S60 customers are complaining about camera quality, speaker quality, fingerprint reader, sensor issues, poor bluetooth performance and wireless charging not working.
