I've had mine for 4 days now and I can say I'm really happy with it. I got the official case for it too. The case isn't flat on the back so it gives a bit of protection for the camera lenses and the lights, as they are slightly more recessed than without the case. I've only used it fairly lightly and I've still got 70% battery left after the initial charge - it came out of the box with 97% charge - and this is without using any of the power saving options! With the full power saving option activated it claims that I'll have 481 hours of standby time! That's just over 20 days, which is insane! So far it seems to be more durable than any other phone I've had to date (I broke the screen of a Samsung S7 Active within a week of getting it). I was looking at the Ulefone Armor 3 but this just came out as I was about to buy it. The spec is slightly better than the Ulefone though, which made my choice for me. I did notice that you hadn't removed the plastic that was over the rear camera lenses though. This may have had an effect upon the quality of pictures/video.

I have the phone... and I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!! It´s greater than evrything I´ve ever had. Not in performance, there it sometimes struggles (but go on after that) but for power, it`s nearly unbrokeable and most of the important apps are installed. Also nearly full loaded... it ist heavy, but exakly that is, what I need. And it is nice build... it is pleasure to touch it! Hope my english was good enough.

I have a friend that has the Doogee S60, he forgot it on the roof of his car and I blew of at 30 mph took like 20 tumbles and the only think that broke was the glass. But the rest works as before the " accident " and I'm impressed of the build quality Doogee S60 and the S88 pro is probably just as good. Bad A$$ u bet u!

Ive had the S88 pro since not long after release dropped it a few times a day then a few months ago I did the same, left it on the roof of the car.... It's so heavy it stayed on till 90kph at which point it flew off got sucked in by the cars aerodynamics, hit the back widow and freaked me out then bounced down the duel carriageway untill it hit a pickup truck. When I got the phone back, nothing.... It looked fine apart from a bit of roadrash on the rubber casing. Found out later it has a few dead pixels and no QC function charging. Swapped to a wireless charger and that works fine... When this eventually dies will definitely buy either exactly the same model if I can or one of the newer models if they release another with a huge battery.

Do not recommend this phone. We sold several to our clients, all of them were returned because one microphone stopped working after a small dip into water, other one started constantly freezing, not able to make calls because of that and collecting a lot vapor under the camera glass, not able to make photos or videos because of that. We recommend phones such as Ulefone Armor 7, Ulefone Armor 7E, Ulefone Armor 8, Ulefone Armor 9E, Ulefone Armor 9, Oukitel WP5 Pro, Oukitel WP6, Oukitel WP7 and Oukitel WP8 Pro. None of them had any issues or defects.

Here's a small tip, if you do not compare your video and your photos with other phone, impossible to tell how bad or good the phone is in that aspect. Also... you never removed the protector for the rear objectives. Did not mention the problem with all those small companies in regards to updates to your phone android system which are either none or very few compare to flagship companies... with flagship prices of course.

It's not rain proof forever. My motherboard accumulated corrosion after nearly 2 years of working with it in all weather conditions, which included several torrential rains. The ingress protection will fail eventually even if you never dunk it in a body of water once. It was working perfectly well until one day, it was turning itself on and off and the power button was no longer functioning properly. No early warning signs of it's ip68/ip69 failure. Just perfection followed by a sudden death

I have had a S40 for more than two years now , not a days problem with it , I have dropped it from heights that would destroy a samsung or apple , after two years my CAT rugged phone was almost unusable because even factory wipes wouldn't solve speed issues , I don't have a single bad thing to say about my S40 even battery life after two years is impressive , I have tried many brands of phone but this is the best I have had so far and considering the price I would rate it very high in terms of getting every Penny's worth .

You certainly went over the ruggedness of the phone but how is the sound quality when talking on the phone (I'm old school I talk to people not have a conversation in texting. Great phone and the desingn is great i like rugged phones because they give you a lot value for the money. I am using Blackview BV 9500 Plus and it is a great phone for the price , I charge it every 5 days it works with out any issues. Somethimes it charges slower but I bought Baseus 40W charge cable and the charging is faster now. Nice review keep them coming!!! Cheers

It is a lovely phone, just member as with all doogee phones. their software design will come with the extra. Like from T5, they indeed follow the bloatware and firmware side downloaders to add extra in to your phone by itself all the time yo use it. This will lead eventually to a failing phone.

What's the gps accuracy like? Thinking of using this as a delivery driver. Also how does the screen hold up being dropped and bounced face first on concrete corners, curbs etc? So far I have heard the screen can smash fairly badly; currently I have a CAT S60, which for 3 years I have been unable to damage the screen of....and it's been thrown out of windows and abused by children!

what I want to know is is it as waterproof as they claim? i own an s95 pro, phone operation is ok, i like the form and function, however, after the first dunk in water, the speakers deteriorated very quickly, and now i have owned a phone for the last six months that does not ring, very dissapointing. phone operates well tho otherwise. As well the outside of the phone wears out very fast, after 8 months of general wear and tear the phone looks like its 3 years old. not sure if i should buy another doogee or spend the extra money on a Cat s62 pro. thoughts? anyone else find the doogee speakers crap out very fast??

Maaan these phones are invincible. I work for Amazon, dropped my S88pro hundreds of times, on cement, from the van, on my foot (auch! 🤣), In water etc and only minor scratches. The display is clean like crystal. Downs:, side buttons are very sensitive, anoying and mostly useless, extremely horrible GPS signal (it might be my phone only) and microphone/speaker horrendous quality (we all know that, but can be fixed with a good hands free). The battery is very good, but after 6 months of use my USB port got shorted so now i charge it only with a pad. On a scale from 1 to 10, i give it an 8,5 since ive been breaking phones like hell before and this one refuses to get damaged no matter how hard it slams to the asphalt.

Doogee makes phones that look tough and cool, but the hardware is dirt cheap, it never gets firmware updates, cpu overheats and they have no customer service! Also random parts like charger plug inside the phone just break for no reason! Trust me I had two before I learned the lesson.
