Really good review. I always find your reviews both informative and entertainin. But I'm more looking for a long term evaluation/review of this phone. So you and I, really can fully evaluate if this phone is the phone to buy. What types of buggs does exist, is any? But if you say, that this phone is almost perfect, due to the "low resolution" screen. Maybe this is the one phone to get. I'm sick and tired of all the "toy phone" that break when you look at them.

I've been thinking about buying 1 BUT... When I email them, no reply. It's pretty much a nope for me! I have the note 20 ultra. It's a POS to ME I've had a ton of issues with it. I like the notes due to the bigger screen. Besides that I've had both Apple & Android phones. Is it not a Android phone? I like my music, good sound, streaming music & movies plus watching movies and KZbin. A good camera phone. I also like though rugged phones. I run Android Auto when driving. If I buy, don't like it then what? Or it fails down the road? They run updates? Where can I buy?

Yes, like any other phone. The only thing is...the phone is pretty heavy...so almost impossible to type holding the phone in one hand

Great phone for people who work in rough enviroments. Using a lot of plastics instead of metal makes sense on a rugged phone to absorbe impact energy. Shame for the low res screen. Interesting review Alex, thanks!

@@RedskullPro Rugged phones have a bad name under people working in construction etc. most of them once owned a Cat or other rugged phone. They were let down by substandard hardware, slow prosessors, lack of internal memory, bad low res screens and so on. Most of these people in my surrounding now use A series Samsung phones, not ideal for their work. This phone is a big step in the right direction but trust has to be won back for them to change phones I think.

Salutare,as dori un mic ajutor daca se poate, banuiesc ca la calitate e bun dar sunt zvonuri ca au probleme cu sunetul, in special la videocall pe aplicatii si la convorbiri normale( se aude foarte usor), plus probleme la retea,sunt probleme cu retea 4g+? I ordered three of the S96 Pro from ***** , Not only did the promise a discount on each phone by customer rep Jimmy. That was a lie! Now they changed the shipping date from before March 27/2021 to April 5/2021 after telling me they were working on speeding up the process! I ordered one of these phones for an older person who can't get out and about. He needs a new phone ASAP. After telling me they had plenty of stock! That was a lie! I'm in the process of getting the credit card money reversed. I understand things take time! They keep sending me spam emails on more products that I can lose more money on! Is there anyone who knows where you can order these phones and will have them delivered in a timely manner?

I have the same problem, my phone is still on the way. By now it is in the tracking system of my local carrier so it will take roughly another week. But that is the risk of ordering directly from China (cheap), you can order next time on Amazon or eBay in your own country and have it quick (expensive). The cost were in my case 150% ordering it locally.

Nice review! I'm glad you take the time to review these "rugged" phones. This one seems to be a bit better than the last phone I purchased - "Cubot King Kong". = Terrible phone. That phone was garbage! Some of these phones are decent, but most cut-corners and include gimmicks that no one would actually use. It's too bad they can't make a phone with decent specs and a nice camera that I can take hiking etc. I would like IP68 ratings but don't want to sacrifice cameras, call quality etc.

Disappointing! I went for a swim today with it. I was supposed to be waterproof but it leaked!!! Now it's dead. I've got a brick! tyring to dry it out by burying it in silica gel for 2 days. Will see if it revives after that.

I bought this phone after watching reviews about how tough it is. It fell out of my work trouser pocket 3 feet to the ground and the screen smashed. Rubbish! I had my Galaxy S8 for 3 years and it survived lots of abuse unscathed.
