Slow is uniquely good with "The Core" as you can use weakness detector to charge the core while having the core charge items that slow thus charging the weakness detector.

Hey man, I have to say I love the videos like this where you go a bit more in depth of why you choose what you choose. I can't remember which character it was, I think it was Mr Pig, and you choose an option I never did. I can't recall what option it was of course, but I didn't even know that "shop" or "person" gave something that was HUGE. Again, this is vague, probably over a month ago, but that one lone piece of information helped me start winning battles like crazy. I really should just try and click on each person at least once, to see what they offer, but I also know that some of them offer some freaking amazing items/weapons/choices that only show up a percentage of the time, or under specific circumstances, which is why I probably stopped clicking on them and lost out on some really amazing things.

Funny that you mentioned the shadowed cloak synergy with pulse rifle. Yesterday, I was running a shadowed cloak, pulse rifle, drill, and burn core build that was absolutely dominating early game.

Best and most consistent dooley is probably no (basic) core and a board of: Combat Core - Metronome - Pulse Rifle - First Aiden - Force Field Just get a ton of good skills (Freeze / Haste) since the board is super easy to acquire and only needs diamond Combat Core / Silver Pulse Rifle to function. (Silver Pulse Rifle doesn't matter after patch due to +1sec Cd) Been farming 10 wins with this. Build will probably stay functional / good even after patch.

They're changing weak point detector to always charge 2s. Bronze is buffed but it's a nerf to the higher rarities.

Deadly weakpoint detecter is probably my favorite Dooly item. My strongest run ever was a Vanessa run with the d.w.p.d and a turbo swash buckle.

Definitely agree about needing some middle ground Ranked. It feels pretty awful to have god runs “wasted” on free play and then turn around and have Ranked runs struggle to get 4 wins.

How do people get multiple of the same item? Like the poison Vanessa had two seashells, and the Vanessa you faced yesterday had three throwing knives.

There are items that give you a free item at the start of the day. You can sometimes luck out with those items. Fishing pole gives a free aquatic, shovel gives a free item from any character, there is one that gives a free ammo item, net gives free pirahnas, etc.

I think that for Ranked games, they must honour all the youtubers that go out of their way to avoid Meta build and just going for it! Implement a Flair score that contributes (gonna be difficult to balance, but...) towards your rank. Points scored for using items not commonly used together/points subtracted for repeating a build... The item pool seems large enough, and specifically, Interesting enough, that creative builds can become the Meta. Especially with the Devs literally allowing legal infinite loops with today's patch: on use became charge... Sounds bad, but if you look at the charge values, they're allowing it, just needs a bit more effort.
