I had a question I went and bought an old computer just for doom cause iv played it my whole life but I lost my cd copy of the game is there anywhere I can find a copy that you know of cause I'd really like to play some of these maps that people make on line and someone told me you had to have a cd copy before you could do anything I'm used to the plain Jane classic maps what would you suggest?

You can buy doom2 legally at gog.com or Steam. The Doom2.wad file you aquire this way is all you need. You do not need an old computer, you download a community made source port like ZDoom, its works on all systems. Put ZDoom.exe and doom2. wad and the .wad file of the custom made map into the same folder, drag and drop .wad file onto zdoom.exe and that is it.
