[DOOM 2] Lufia2.WAD

I cried more than during the wedding scene.
Lufia 1 title screen. Lufia 2 battle theme. Has nothing to do with Lufia.
I was just curious when I saw the title of the WAD. Released: 1997.
The author clearly gave up on the project from the start. Interestingly enough, MAP02 still has custom music from Chrono Trigger and MAP03 from Dr. Mario but there are no actual new maps.
That is it, kiddos. Try to force your way through pointless masses of hitscanners.

Never heard of the original , so i checked Wikipedia and World of Longplays . There are some minor differences between the orig and this wad , i agree ☺ Sheesh , the sheer audacity to (ab)use this title this way has a certain cool about it , but that's about as positive as i can get about this clonky wad But you came through victorious , and in the end nothing else matters 👍

I really just downloaded it because I saw the name. I hoped for at least some recreation of the Doom Island from the games or something but nope... However, I assume it was supposed to be an attempt at the last hallway. There are tons, THOUSANDS, of WADs of this quality and many of them just happened to find their way on BBS and then various shovelware CDs back in the day.

This WAD's not the absolute worst. It's bad, but at least this author didn't put exaggerated eating sound effects in it.

Thankfully that was specific to the particular Total Conversion due to the character and does not happen often at all!

@@MadJak91 I still hate that the mod had eating sounds in it, fundamentally, but I retract my extreme anger. Maybe somebody can get high off of DemonSteele somehow, just not me...

what do you mean this has nothing to do with lufia 2? 0:28 looks pretty much exactly like one of those rooms in the ancient cave with a kajillion chests and monsters
