After downloading this mod and playing the game I fell in love with it all over again. The weapons I used to hate using (pistol, chaingun) are now my favorites in this mod. The sound of the pistol is fantastic. I also like how the regular shots scatter a bit but when you zoom aim the shots become really precise with tighter groupings. The creator of this mod did an incredible job. Two thumbs up and highly recommended.

Love the sound of the plasma gun firing, although the stock sound of the plasma gun reloading the cell was badass cuz you feel the gun power up, feels like as if the gun has been pumped up to the Maxx. And the chain gun in this mod is absolutely savage. Nicely done man!🙂

The handgun was perfect! Great hand placement. You can even see the index finger pressing on the trigger.

The chaingun having 120 ammo and actually being fast is way better, but other than that on other weapons I prefer the original

I noticed two issues with this mod. The hand grenades are no longer in the "weapon scroll selection." You need to hit the number "6" key on the keyboard to bring them up. When you enable the player's shadow, the pistol does not cast a shadow in Doomguy's hand.

Greetings! this mod sounds awesome, just having some problem running with Redux mod, how do these two work?

With Redux you'll need to remove z_weap_mars_dest.pk4 from the base folder and place it in the Redux folder. If it's not alphabetically last, add another z to the beginning of the filename.

The petrol chainsaw is a stupid weapon for chopping mutants because the meat and blood presses into the chain then the saw stops working

these sounds are great! but theres somethin about them that just doesnt seem to fit doom 3. idk, its hard to put my finger on it. they feel too modern day and should be more akin for a sci-fi game
