It is, unfortunatley I had a bad experience with the game. They offered a founders edition to support the developers and just gave up on the game and shut it down on steam not long after it was placed on steam.

Looks good. Nice vid Beelz. My main concern with games with progression is what will you do with Tech once you are all maxed out? Makes it feel like the meta currency becomes pointless.

Happens in almost every rogue eventually. But I'm curious what else we could do with it, given that the release of the game will be larger and it took me roughly 8 hours to max out that tech tree.

It was called star siege dead zone a lot of people bought a founders pack to support the devs and the game and they just abandoned the game I would say if you want to play a game made buy them is fine just don’t spend any money

Yeah, it's a roguelite. You do runs from start to end. Upgrading and making different builds along the way. Like Dead Cells, Spelunky, Isaac, Hades etc. Once the game actually releases the runs will either be longer, or have different areas to go to.

Well I certainly wasn't expecting a hunter x hunter reference, and definitely not something from the Chimera arc lol. Also, somehow, having played mostly isometric/2d sidecroller/top-down games, I somehow never realized that FPS can also be roguelites... Not quite a genre for me but it's a nice watch.

There's some VERY good FPS Rogues out there. Gunfire Reborn and Roboquest are excellent places to start.

I feel like this game would benefit greatly from having more variants of enemies in a room. You have this movement system that encourage dodging and taking your time, but because there's a small variation of enemies in a room (and even if there's many variation of them, there's only a small amount of them in a room) it doesn't feel as fun to do. Also, it'd probably do well with more aggressive enemies, considering you have invis on entry that allows you to plan your path of attack. You have a big room, lots of utilities and tools to use, but a considerably small amount of semi-passive enemies that are slow and couldn't pose as much threat because they could hardly corner you because your play area is big. This game looks very promising, but it's going to need some overhaul with the combat just to add that extra kick to it.

He's playing on easy (default mode each time you launch the game). I suggest starting on normal for better challenge and enjoyment. There you'll have to dodge way more, especially after 2nd boss,where you can find small rooms cluttered with mobs.
