Looks pretty nice though, better than the last one. A good one you probably played but is still my gold standard is Army of Ruin. Looooooots of characters, weapons, power ups to unlock and a very granular difficulty so we can test ourselves.

Hmm, after playing it for an hour or so it is not terribly fun IMO. The grind starts right away being unable to get past the 4th or 5th zone. There are no explanations about anything. Why are some zones 'enemy', others 'treasure', others 'shop'? I saw no rhyme or reason (and yes, I can google, but if I need a third party site...), zones are too short so most of the time I don't have time to do the quests. No new unlocks to keep the interest since I can't get past the first map. No shop between rounds so we need to randomly find one. What the heck does the barbarous/strider/etc even mean!? Why do some say 'get extra bot' but no extra bot spawns but sometimes they do? Again, I can google it, but why must I? Why the heck is the magnet the same color as XP but only slightly bigger? The loop of the past hour has been reach the fourth or fifth zone, die, come back, increase meta a little bit, go back, die in the same zone, rinse, repeat.

What's with calling it a bullet heaven and not a bullet hell?

Bullet hell has been referred to spaceship battle for a couple decades now, so it would be confusing to use it.
