And he is actually a very caring person. Look at the way he reacts in the prologue when he is awakened from his coffin thing and he finds out another scientist asshole brought back demons to mars. When he goes in that elevator and sees the complete disregard for human life it enrages and he loses control and breaks the button. He even had a pet bunny named daisy that was killed by demons and it still fuels him with hate. I kinda feel bad for the him

Like Taras Nabad, Exultia, pretty much the entirety of TAG 2, Doom Hunter Base, Sentinel Prime...I just don't like those levels And ever since the Master Levels, base game SGN, Mars Core, and Super Gore Nest have become kinda boring to play. Also many missions feel way too long, have overly drawnout battles, too gimmick heavy, and way too much downtime for my tastes Meanwhile 2016 I loved pretty much every mission. The first half had way more exploration than Eternal EVER had, and the second half where 2016 gets linear and combst focused is much more replayable than Eternal to me because they're not nearly as long, don't have battles that last 6 hundred years, and doesn't sport much gimmicks or downtime.(though the issues I mentioned are more of a Master Level thing, not base game) I also like the arena fights way more Makes me sad to say this but NONE of Eternal's fights have hit me anywhere near as hard as the VEGA Core battles on Nightmare. Closest to be as epic were the Arc Complex Kitchen fights and Blood Swamps trials, but even those don't quit hit the same mark for me. Also Argent Energy Tower is super underrated, I view it as a waaaaaaaaay cooler version of Doom Hunter Base, and I'd take it over most Eternal levels P.S. I love DOOM Eternal. I played it for 500 hours, and even got burnt out several times. I'm not calling the game bad or anything. Just my personal thoughts.

Ngl this is exactly how it felt yesterday when I played doom 2016 for the first time in a while. When I first played the game ever a couple months ago, I died so many times on ultra violence (that's how i remembered this mission and the music. Was the first mission I repeatedly got frustrated on due to deaths and stuff), and even after replaying it all on nightmare died a few times. But after beating it on nightmare, and later beating doom eternal on nightmare, I came back to this mission on nightmare last night because of the song damnation being stuck in my head the past 3 days. Admittedly I'm not quite the skill or memory level of this guy, but man, I completely mopped the floor with everything that moved, using only the combat shotgun and gauss cannon, occasionally the rocket launcher for variety. Hands weren't sweaty, no panic, nothing. Just effortlessly wiped out every demon in the mission with insane precision, and took MAYBE two hits in the entire mission, which I think was my own doing. I was literally set aback, like "wow, I did that?" Its crazy what happens when you struggle through hardships but keep at it and go further than that, and realize how far you have come when you go back and visit those initial hardships.

@captainkirk4271 yessirrr and that's a fact. I still struggle with Classic Mode Nightmare (without using Super Weapons) for the Taras Nabad Master level, particularly the room with the Two archviles. But other than that even when I take months of time off the game I be straight. Super gore nest Master Level at UN, I literally play it to RELAX lol (and this was when I was on console before I switched to PC) I find myself really liking Mars Core too tho, I think it's next in line with SGN for my favorite Master level.

Also, I did some math. In this 15 minute video, a little over 200 demons were killed. If we can consider this to be the most canon depiction of the Slayer’s rampage through hell after the fall of Argent D’Nur, which is said to have lasted eons, then we can take this video as an average, multiply by 4 to get 800 demons an hour, multiply by 24 to get 19,200 demons a day, multiply by 365 to get 7,008,000 demons a year, and 7 billion demons in a millennia. And considering an eon lasts for God-knows how long, we can safely assume that the Slayer SINGLEHANDEDLY killed BILLIONS of demons.
