Something kinda important I forgot mentioning: as usual for Loss, expect the mods he makes to receive changes and updates fairly often after release. DJC already got a few balance changes since this showcase was made.

I was immediately sold on that computer terminal startup sequence, and then it just kept getting better! Loss is definitely going to end up working on a commercial GZD game one of these days, I just know it.

A Joker themed loadout would be so awesome; Acid Squirting Flower, throwing cards, Tommy gun, and definitely Jack Nicholson's massive revolver, maybe even a Joker gas launcher

Glad to see this mod didn’t die. And a plus that this got updated…in a big way. Definitely will be trying this out. Also did you ever get to check out halo doom evolved weapon mod??? Should do a weapon showcase on that when you get a chance since they are going to be releasing thier next update real soon and it’s a big one

Yeah, I know about Halo Doom Evolved. Played it once and rather liked it, but given all the weapons I didn't really feel like recording a showcase without knowing all of them beforehand. I'd rather wait for the update honestly, it'd be a good deal of work gone down the drain when the update comes out.

Lazy? That's the first time I see anyone calling his stuff that. There hasn't been a single mod he put out that was unpolished, broken or poorly tested.

@@matteldrydge yeah you're right I guess it's more of a me thing I just didn't enjoy tiger blood or operation terminal that much like he's previous mods

@yokoreta6811 To be fair Tiger Blood is just a gimmick he felt like exploring while Operation Terminal is essentially a tech demo he didn't want to throw away.

Harely looks kinda like playdough but that's almost certainly because of them using 3D models and drawing over them. But that aside god DAMN is this a good mod! Only complaint is that Harley's hyenas are nowhere to be found. 9/10

The gunplay and movement is an improvement from the first iteration, but the art style in the first one was better. Not a fan of the intro/menu either. Feels like a step backwards. Another issue is that the download site and forums don't really give a good description of what has changed or what the goal is with an update. I could understand not needing one if it were a map pack, as a new iteration would mean new maps, but this is more technical in nature. Maybe I just didn't find it in the right spot. Some food for thought. Love the new voice.

Better forward it to the modder himself, I think. He might check my videos on occasion but it's just better to share feedback on the forums and/or Itch if it's a big deal.

I like how polished it is but I am sorta disappointed that the more bizarre and interesting weapons / mechanics from the OG mod were just replaced with generic guns.

This is more more movie Harley than comic book Harley from what little I know, so it has a slightly more grounded aesthetic by design. One is flowery and outlandish, one is flowery but closer to how live action movies would handle such an outlandish character. Calling any of these weapons "generic" is flat out wrong and not very nice given this is Loss' passion project still. It comes off as very entitled given you're not paying a dime for it.

@@matteldrydge My bad, I may have put my foot in my mouth by saying the word "Generic." When I said that I meant that the weapons were more... normal, I guess? The weapons themselves are great, but there's a noticeable lack of cupcake grenades and jack-in-the-boxes here. But as you said, I guess these weapons are supposed to be more grounded. I think it's just not to my personal taste. Apologies if I came across as rude.
