I didn't realize till now that Dorothy sang Pure Imagination last season because it was what she watched with her father, which she said this episode. I loved this episode. A nice mix of comedy and drama with the Larry wrapping everyone in bandages, the vomit scene, and the conversations with their families. It was also a pretty decent backdoor pilot, which usually suck.

Ty Tennant is the adopted son of David Tennant. Dead Boy Detectives are great in this. I am unfamiliar with the comic book, and after watching this episode, I want to see more of them. There are reports that HBO Max has ordered a pilot for a Dead Boys Detectives series.

Doom Patrol is such a great series they get weird but still stick to the D.C Lore. Something I wish Legends would do.

Death will appear in Sandman on Netflix, she's his sister. The Dead Boy detectives first appeared in the Sandman comics.

@@Omn1Media Neil Gaiman's 75 issues of Sandman are one of the best comic book stories ever. There's a reason a comic series that ran from 1989 to 1996 is still being reprinted regularly. Like Doom Patrol, it's very out there, but it's less absurdist and more fairytale-like. Though many parts can be read as stories that stand on their own, there's an overarching story that spans the full 75 issues, and reading the entire thing in order is IMHO the best way to enjoy it.

As others are saying here in the comments, Dead Boy Detectives is getting an HBO Max pilot. It will be executive produced by Carver and Berlanti, same as this show. But the showrunner would be the guy that lead the very recent HBO Max series called Flight Attendant, which starred Kaley Cuoco.

Both have a forest. You can either get by train or by lake to your destination. I know they are not supposed to be connected, they are independent, but they are very alike, charles appears arms.

Of the 3 eps dropped, this was my least fave... I mean it wasn't bad or anything but the focus on the Dead Boy Detectives, kinda interesting, and yet not really what I am here to watch... I want to focus on Doom Patrol... the new guys were alright, not sure if I wanna see a whole spinoff with them just yet but they served their purpose for the episode.
