Thats one of the rules. Plus the fact you have to use all of your resources keeps players from cheesing all the most powerful weapons, beating the game quickly, and think theyve already mastered the game.

doom eternal actually feels slower to me compare to doom 2016 i mean the sprint speed. of course the ones here in the footage is nothing like the final product it was 3x faster than what was shown here. i love the game but i didnt like how they nerfed imp so much those annoying little shits are a nightmare on doom 2016 but on eternal they move like the zombies on re 2.

@@rogue8174 I think that's because Eternal has a lot more demons to fill the gap. Imps and zombies are basically moving ammo now. Other demons also seems to be a lot weaker and easier to kill this time, like the hell knights and pinkies. While they added new very annoying demons such as the whiplash and the prowler.

It looks slow becasue it's slow. They made it so slow just for the reveal gameplay because the game is to fast paced to show everything, it's intentional just for the gameplay trailer.

Honestly I disagree, the fact that in game the slayer does it so much faster and easily makes him seem like he’s fucking superman just mowing down demons like it’s an average Thursday. It makes the player feel so much more powerful IMO.

It looks like at first they were going for that spooky/horror vibe that 3 had but not that much. In the end they decided for a more action oriented game like 1 and 2. The graphics also ended up being a lot better in the final release. They really did an incredible job.

Call me crazy, but to me this looks and sounds better than the final game. The greyscale HUD, the punchier sound effects, the eyeless imp design (and they actually have sound effects in this), the green foggy thunder-y Kadingir, even the low, growly, glitchy industrial music is SO much more atmospheric, cinematic and satisfying. No 'IN THE FIRST AGE IN THE FIRST BATTLE' fantasy Sentinel stuff in sight. It's Doom to the barest of necessities.

Was this the same game!? Movement are so painfully slow, but retail has fast lace movement and gameplay. I can see there is a graphical improvement in the explosion, though it was toned down in retail version. Also AI were standing too still.
