@andrefilipe90424 жыл бұрын
@Kuooii clowning It's a bit complex of a situation. People complain that the Doom soundtrack didn't seemed to look like anything in the game, it seems it was badly remixed. This because during the process Mick seemed to struggle in properly remixing making the soundtrack s for shipping. So Id software (I think it was them) Gave Mick 2 more weeks I believe. Still Mick didn't managed to delivered anything and so one of the people of the company had to do the remixing themselves for shipping. The result was that the music didn't looked like anything and Mick seemed pissed. But here is the thing, first we got the badly remixed Doom music. Them Mick confessed on a twit that he was unhappy the way they remixed. And then one of the directors of the game came out and told the story about Mick missing the deadlines and so they had to do the the remixing themselves. This quite a few mouths ago so I don't know if it had any more updates.

@erblecde7 жыл бұрын
he means there's no vocals dude...
@renehoyvik7 жыл бұрын
Ah ok. In games i prefer the soundtracks to not have vocals anyways. In a game you will play for hours, hearing the same vocal track on repeat just grinds my eardrums, whereas instrumental music does not distract from the gameplay so i rarely notice where a track repeats. For me this is especially noticable in RPG games if they use vocal tracks in anything other than cutscenes or set-pieces like boss battles.
@metroidhunter9657 жыл бұрын
He's got the makings of a really fine touring artist. He knows how to interact with the crowd and with the other musicians on stage. A thing that has always bugged me since I watched an interview with him was this: he stated that he went out and bought a 9-string guitar (which I would lay money down that the guitar he's play is the one he bought). The reason for opting for a 9 over a 5 was that the lower chords sounded more aggressive. More Doom, if you will. So my question is that if he was pursuing a deep tone, why not just buy a bass guitar? I'm not a musician, so please excuse my ignorance if the answer is obvious to you.

Like Nicky said, the specifications were "no guitar." They wanted Doom to be metal af.
