We got a stack of sounds from my friend who had access to the internet, and just plugged a whole bunch of them into the game. I remember using Sam Kinison screams, the door-opening sound from Aliens, and Ash’s “groovy” from Army of Darkness. It made the game so silly, but also a lot of fun

This indigo armored bearded guy is straight up way more of a badass than even the regular doom guy. The regular doom guy, he can't get into a regular fist fight trading blows with a baron, he'd be immediately turned into catfood. The only way he can fight is with weapons and moving around really fast and being hard to hit. But this guy takes the hits and takes out lots of very powerful monsters with his bare hands.
