This update also improved some sound effects. I noticed yesterday as I was playing that distant explosions sounded so much better and that the JAR Dominator has a new sound when firing, you should give the gun a try

I played a game a few days ago where we had two shield relays. It was super helpful esp in open areas where a lot of bots can shoot you. We would drop the shield relays alternately

Doom have you tried verifying your game integrity recently? I do it about once a month for HD2 cause it fixes a lot of issues caused by updates.
