I just focus on collecting materials to upgrade my walls. I intended to use honeycomb first, but it's really an eyesore to build your base using that style, not to mention the lags you get because of so many doors/walls. You can secure your staffs and keep your base looks good at the same time without using this style. All you need is your imagination and deep thought in placing your staffs.

Basically just use the great wall technique from JCF this concept is made for high end gamers (those who use a beast os) it will give you a bunch of lag and a lot of bumping and you need to go door to door just for items I recommend making each of those 4x4 plus, the raiders will only break one wall then if u have lvl 3 walls they're just gonna leave

I have to agree. I've got full stone and im 4 skulls, 110 rep. Raiders break 1 wall, a row of lvl 1 doors behind 1st layer of stone. 5-10 lvl 1 doors break and thats it. Ive got 4 layers of stone, they only break through first 1. Rest of my base is rooms. Honeycomb is overkill and looks dumb. No imagination.

I honeycombed 3 walls thick on the outer to reach any production room then my loot separated in 6 rooms in the middle then within those 6 rooms there's another box within a box for my uber loot. Good protection low lag 5 walls to c4 leaves only a lil wiggle room plus I corralled those walkers appearing in my base invited them in behind a lvl 1 wall and put a noise trap in there 😜

I have a 4x3 metal vault and 3x3 metal floors inside my base planned for Helicopter in the future. Then I got cheeky and made 2 x 5 metal room next to broken truck. I'm probably going to regret this when metal cutter comes out and AI raids cut 1 wall per raid. Granted steel is easy now from recycling coppers but it's gonna hurt, lol

Why is theren't an option to drop all of your bases in some building mode? Like you can do in "Clash of Clash" for example. Now you start a base by building some floors and walls, not thinking about everything. If you are not satisfied with the layout, you have to break down all the expensive walls and gather all the materials again. Same as I have now. I just want to put my complete base into some building mode or something like that and rebuild again with the floors and walls I already made. If there is a way to do so, please contact me ^^

question for u guys, when do u start getting raided an interacting with other live players ? For example I still have not Completed my watch tower to explore beyond, Figuring when I decide to complete it, my base will then be visible to other players? Is that what opens you to live play or do u have to go raid bases with the raiders?I would like to build my base up b4 getting raided. I need steel bad It's almost impossible to find without expanding my map but I refuse to explore any further than the original map until I know how it works. can somone fill me in? thanks!

To have friends and everyting you need the radio tower , lvl 3 if you wanna clan . Revealing beyond in the north will give you oak forests ( yellow and red ) that are verry verry usefull for stone walls , reveals winter maps ( yellow and red ) , i've been 2-3 times there wich gives you copper but you need to or needed to warn warm clothes and be sure you don't remain naked for long , also reveals another AI base In the east tower it reveals another AI base and don't know if you have the police station or not ( I reveald the east part before the police station got into the game )

I hate the way they did the walls and noise. Now we need stupid lag creating bases who look like complete crap. In my opinion, they should make so that u have (let's say) maximum of 30 lvl3 walls and like 10 metal as well as limited amount of lvl1 and lvl2 walls so that u have to prioritize and strategize. They should make mines available, tripwire traps, turrets should be harder to craft but more deadly with a bigger range and not consume fuel. Then we could actually build nice bases with tons of variety and it would make raiding much more fun to do. In my opinion, they should make it so you actually need to spend at least entire armor set and 2-3 guns as well as a stack of medical stuff and 10-15 hatchets. It should be a really good challenge with a risk of maybe getting good, maybe bad loot. Right now it only makes my base lag a ton, have an ugly layout and raids are just ass becouse how boring they are

Oak event and raids. Built 2 big circle layers around my base like that and like he says a layer of lvl 1 walls around that and you never need to worry as long as you have the bait box

Avoid being at home.. They only tear down your walls, so you might as well not build any until you can upgrade them

If you're not raiding or still don't have enough resources for lvl3 walls, just don't build walls atm. They only destroy walls and can't really steal anything.
