It's far from perfect, but I loved Doomsday. It's such an entertaining mashup between various post-apocalyptical scenarios, all rolled into one. Rhona Mitra is a really underrated actress btw.

I remember watching this with my roommate. We were looking for a terrible action flick that we could laugh at and thought Doomsday fit the bill. We were really surprised when it turned out to be a pretty solid film.

This is by far the best sci-fi Post apocalyptic action film by Director Neil Marshall. Waterworld, Mad Max, Gladiator, and Escape From New York are the film's influences!? Cool!

You know, despite the hate this film may get, I really adore it. Maybe being a proud Scotsman certainly helps, but I adore all the elements this film references. And it has some of my favorite actors, too. Not a terrible film, but by far not the best. A fun ride nonetheless. Many thanks for another great video, Niyat.

It's not original but just watched doomsday and really enjoyed it. Resident evil meets mad max with escape from ny characters. Movie holds up better than most from that time. Dredd and doomsday probably most under rated movies from 2008-2012.

I remember seeing this movie as a kid and beinh frightened, intrigued and some how understanding some of the actions taken in the movie. The scenes with the black guy in on the chain behaving like a rabid pitbull revealed so much to me. I couldn't even remember the name but that scene comes back to me from time to time and go and look up the title which is why I'm here now in 2024. Great movie

Man, I remember even as a kid I found this movie incredibly stupid, surprised so many liked it. Scenes like the APC windows shattering like cheap glass, or the scrap cars catching up to the Bentley made me cringe.

The one plot hole that still bugs me is how the government didn’t realize there were survivors in Quarantine Scotland much sooner since they had satellites keeping watch. But still, a fun movie that I keep going back to. I miss that old school era when originality was pushed.

This would be a great idea for a post or almost apocalyptic scifi universe. They sure do leave open plenty of ways for follow on movies should ideas be had.. seeing as we dont have any real movies or shows hardly of this type, only a handful come to mind, that really have any sort of following yet.

My only issue with this is that they killed off most of the "team" on the first quarter, which I felt ruined the suspense, you need to keep some alive to drip feed us deaths.
