I'm super late to the party but I just finished season 2 and fuck... I didn't even like Rose in the beginning but she grew on me so much. At first I was like 'oh, they really do love each other' and after Doomsday I realised... man, they ACTUALLY love each other. I've been told the other companions will grow on me just as much but I doubt the doctor will ever love anyone as much as Rose.
