*Eggman was about to win. He had everything he needed. The master emerald and a sonic stranded in space. But you had the super emeralds. You fly as fast as you can. Stop eggman. If he can get away the world will be in ruin*

He was on his way to fall into the Earth if it weren't for the emeralds since the level's way to kill the player for running out of time is letting Sonic fall

*You seem to get health from him but then it seems his robot has a second form this time it looks like the death egg robot but different but you only know it has the master emerald so you fly again as fast you can! You get rings and dodge his rockets soon you catch up and damage him but you get annoyed it seems like it won’t work but soon you catch up for the sixth time and destroy his robot and then it falls to the earth but Sonic also falls he reversed to his regular form but then you see Tails on the tornado he gets the master emerald and you and you give it to Knuckles saving the day!*

Chaos Emeralds actually. Collecting the Super Emeralds isn't canon, and never was. Super Sonic is the canon ending for S3&K.

@@thomashost272 No, that is wrong. Izuka has stated in a somewhat recent interview that the super emeralds after sonic S3&K went into a different dimension after this game. So they are canon and Sonic used them in Doomsday zone. It's pretty much an excuse not to use them again, but they are canon and Sonic DID use them in S3&K.

Reminds me of how the Doomsday theme is in Sonic XG. Pitched nearly the same, really like this one too.

Technically the true bad ending (where Sonic didn't collect the Chaos OR Super Emeralds,) would be that Eggman flies away with the Master Emerald, turns the world into a dystopian, robotiscized apocalypse and leaves Sonic in space to *die.*

Not really. Sonic somehow fell back to earth but didn't have the master emerald. This means that he is that he is going to be in the robot chaos. But that's just a bad ending. What if the death egg collapsed and Sonic was stranded, and he doesn't have all/some chaos emeralds collected, but he can breathe in the death egg cause, game physics, so meaning that sonic is in purgatory, he can breath, but can't get back to earth, that's way worse than death.

@@Jmcproductions6124 It’s all a bunch of “what ifs.” Regardless of however the situation turns out, it will always end up as a “bad ending.” That’s why the song is called Doomsday. The world’s future depends on whether Sonic gets the Master Emerald back or not.

i disagree with some of the changes made. the final chord in the beginning progression around 0:09 doesn't resolve as well as the original. the change to the melody line at 0:27 dampens the timbre and makes the sound meld into the countermelody and bassline. when the harmony enters, the melody similarly becomes muddled. i also don't like the lowering of the pitches for the section at 0:53. it doesn't have the same satisifying impact in my opinion. i can see what you were going for, and i'd be interested in other works, but i don't think this one sounds as good as the original. i do appreciate the increased volume in the bass and some of the harmonies do resolve better in this mix though

I came up with the character, and at the time VHS Sonic was just a one-off sonic mix of VHS Sans which is why I said that. (If I were to remake him he would just be an alien or a mobius OC rather than a tortured soul sort of OC.)
