Tour had been a rough go. During the interview they were all coughing and sniffling. Mike saved himself a bit for that monster verse at the end. They probably played a show late the night before, and played again a few hours after this. People don't realize what a grind a tour can be. It's not easy.

He emcees under the name Cecil Otter. If you like this I recommend his album Rebel Yellow. All five of the Doomtree lyricists are excellent, but him and Dessa are probably the most poetic. Both of them spit lines that would survive just as well on page.
