Great carseat worth every penny. I have the same one if you can afford it get you won’t be disappointed.. only one thing I didn’t like it is very heavy and my suv is tall so is very difficult for me to get it to go in the truck. But I gues I would have the same struggle with any other car seat.

Liz Rodriguez, It’s just brilliant isn’t it. Yes can get heavy when they get bigger but I often switch between this and the Maxi Cosi I also have and that’s just as heavy, need to have guns of steel to lift these babies, hehe. Thank you for watching.

Great video darling just like another lady said well presented and deffinetly put me into gear and want to but it now 😁 I saw a lady pull one out of her car and I was ..what! Wow ! Now that's what I want and you just made me sure it probably a very good investment. Again like you mentioned you have other buggies or car seat and Moses basket type which is my only down side about this but again il still probably by it as I have other children and will for sire be so handy on quick journeys 😁 Thank you honey xx

Really great review! I'm so indecisive about getting this car seat or just buy a chassis and a different car seat with adapters, but like you said, I feel like it would be such a hassle to get a chassis and adapters out every time for those kindergarten runs or short shopping trips. At the start, you mention using a maxi cosi seat and your regular buggy for longer trips. We will be getting a double buggy and we do have a maxi cosi seat after my first, but I was wondering, if we would use the Doona with isofix as the main car seat, would it be weird to bring the maxi cosi seat in the back with the regular buggy? Do you leave the Doona at home and put her in the maxi cosi in the car for those trips? And have you traveled with the Doona? Another thing I'm wondering about is, is it heavy to lift in and out? I know its heavier than other car seats, but how is it like to get it in and out as baby grows? Sorry for bombarding you with questions here, haha.

L VH, Hey thank you for your comment. Don’t worry about all the questions :) I tend to use this a lot in my local area when I’m nipping here there and everywhere and not going long distances as it’s so handing to get out be car. The reason I use my maxi cosi and my buggy when I go out for longer days is because I will put her in her buggy whilst we’re out for hours so she’s more comfortable, plus they don’t recommend baby is in the Doona for long periods of time and recommend using it for convenience instead of days out. If we go for a day out we use our maxi cosi car seat on its isofix base then get her out and put her in the buggy. It is slightly heavier than a standard car seat but not too much and you obviously don’t have to carry it for long distances so the weight isn’t normally an issue :) Hope this helps and thank you for watching x

10kayc in the uk chest clips are not used due to different fire safety regulations. It means there is another thing to unclip in the event of an accident and or fire. Hope that helps. You will find very few UK car seats with chest clips.

No I have a st car seat and they do have a chest harness do you just don’t see in this video I don’t know where she has it in the video but it does come with a chest harness doona car seat has a five point harness with a chest strap

Hi, the Doona is not good to use as a long term stroller as babies need to lay flat in prams/strollers for long periods of time. The same way you wouldn’t just use a car seat and wheels you’d get a whole pushchair/pram/travel system/stroller. It is to be used as a car seat and then out and about for convenience on quick trips out. When I was going out for a long day I would always take my Bugaboo Donkey and transfer her from the Doona to the Bugaboo. If i was just nipping out running errands I would take this. Doona also advise to not use this as a replacement for a pushchair. I hope that helps :)
