Thank you for the review!! I was in love with the Doona but the Evenflo sold me at the option to leave the wheels! Not sure if I will but knowing that’s an option is amazing!!!! Thank you 👏🏼

The evenflo products are definitely safer and stay tighter and sturdier in the car. The thing that I have about both products is that you will eventually have to get another car seat that is larger and stronger as your child grows. My daughter got a doona for our grandson but my wife and I got an evenflo revolve 360 extend all In one car seat. It’s much easier and better on your back when putting the child in or taking them out. To top it off, it’s the only car seat that you will ever need to buy. The blasted thing will handle a child from 4 lbs to 120 lbs and 56 inches tall.

I had the doona for my 2 year old and I did NOT struggle as much as you did🤦🏻♀️. I decided to give away my doona and get the evenflo one because of the detachable wheels.

Amazing review! I'm literally on Amazon rn trying to decide. I think I'm going with the Evenflo. It seems like there was a little more thought that was put into the whole system.

Detaching the wheels is also useful because it's compatible with Maxi-Cosi/Nuna adapters on other strollers when you remove them. So, for example, you could use the wheels it comes with for travel but clip in to a full-size stroller when you're at home. As a Doona owner, I have to admit I'd almost certainly have purchased the Evenflo if it was available when we had our first kid. Between the extended ranges for height and weight, flexibility of using it with another stroller base, and the included storage (we bought the bag separately for the Doona), it seems like a pretty solid option for use in more situations.

Are u positive that the evenflo dual ride is compatible with nuna adapters? I have looked everywhere and i dnt see anywhere that say this carseat has an adapter to sit on any stroller. Thats why i see no point in taking off the wheels!

Doona lover here, but Thank you for the review! I’ve been curious about the evenflo. I just want to add that the steps for taking the doona out is the same as the evenflo. I think you already made your choice before you reviewed it so you were frustrated with it. I would suggest moving the handle bar to the center and lift when unlatching from the base. Then move the same hand unlatching from the base to unlatch the wheels. I always drop the wheels as soon as I pull it out of the car. No need to put the baby on the ground ever. I also don’t think there was ever a time I would have wanted to be without the wheels even to go into a store. The kid in the carrier are just to bulky to carry around. I will say the accessories from evenflo would have been nice to have for the doona. And the height option to last longer is probably the key feature to focus on. My kiddo is about to be too tall for the doona at 21mo.

I love the option of the wheel release since I wouldn’t need them going in and out of my home. I’m sure Doona will finally make upgrades based on their new competitors, especially when it comes to crash safety.

Thank you for this I’m glad to see that the Evenflo car seat will disconnect because I don’t think I could stroll around that doona while also strolling around a shopping cart

I’m definitely going with the Evenflo since I know the car safety features are there.

Omgoodness, if that doona is "alot" for you, what ever will you do with the actual baby??? Soynds spoiled and dramatic to me

I got the Doona, but it's a BIG point on the Evenflo that you can leave the wheels.

You did like wayyyyy to many steps for the doona. Lol. I don’t think you could have done it any harder then you did. Haha so good job on making it look hard. I’m a doona user for 4 years.

In Canada the doona is banned as its not safe enough where as the evenflo is allowed :)

Both are so nice but I really like the Evenflo.

I feel like the evenflo is to upright that the newborn would be sagging forward for its head? Did you have that issue?
@linnsoltwedel9 ай бұрын
You need to get the base of your stroller out of the back of the car, and that is kinda many steps as well? I thought about just getting one and getting adapters for my Fox 5, but then I got this on sale for 250 dollars cheaper, so I just had to get it!

Does the infant car seat fit a larger child?

Do any of you happen to know if the evenflo shyft will fit on the evenflo car seat adapters? I’m considering getting this, as well as the evenflo wagon so I have more options for my multiple kids.

you’re 100% being dramatic when it comes to the doona in and out process… there’s like 3 steps 😂 push the bar down fold wheels and put in the car?

I’m not considering the doona because my thing is when if I go to the grocery store before mines is able to sit in a grocery basket

I got it because I saw so many videos of it, and I dont think its a lot to do. I guess you'll be used to it and you'll just do it whenever you are a little more used to it. I gotta say the handle getting stuck on the kanape is kinda stupid :P
