Sorry for the delay in my response. There is a dial built into the board at the gate operator that you can set the speed for how quick you would like the gate to close after a car drives through. This system doesn't use a separate relay that you would set the closing time. It's all built into the board. I will try to create some other videos on the door king gate system in the near future. We are having a problem that due to this area code change of having to put in the code you are unable to call from the gate. We are unable to update the area code configuration, do you have any advice what we could be doing wrong / if it could be a faulty board? When they made this change it broke the ability to have someone call from the gate and a bunch of us use this gate, grrrr. Any advice would be great, I'm tech savy but a gate newb. Thanks

Where can I find a board replacement? I’m having the same issue. The gate will close and open from the start. Upon closing sometimes it closes all the way sometimes it stops in the middle like it lost its limit memory. I have the gate king 9100

Search your model on door kings website and you will find any part for your system. Also some other things to check are the sensors which go bad as well, make sure their not rubbing on the magnet. Thanks for watching Cesar 👍

@@cesar8ramirez The magnet is right above the sensor on each operator. It's round, & the sensor can come loose and work it's way up to the magnet and rub on the bottom of it. You need a gap from the sensor to the magnet about the width of 2 or 3 business cards (thickness). You may need to clean the brake pads as well, to get to those you need to remove the two 3/4" nuts off the gear and lift the round aluminum cover off & you will see the top brake pad, and then if you remove the gear you will find the bottom brake pad under the gear. You can use a fine/medium sanding block to clean off the brake pads. Then reassemble as you took apart. I may do a video on cleaning the brake pads in the near future. Thanks for watching Cesar 👍

Hi Cesar. Your 9100 is much different than the 6100. The "pick ups" for the magnets are built into the board. Keep in mind that there are a few other possible causes for your issues. Accessories, clutch etc... do some research before buying a circuit board that may not fix the problem. DoorKing will always help you if you reach out to them.
