Lowes installer said reversing the door swing/swap is not good idea, the Mouldings around the doors will not properly seal. Is that true?
@ApartmentMaintenance
@ApartmentMaintenance Сағат бұрын
@@billligon4005 You could have an issue with the seal in some spots after reversing the door. I've had that happen a few years back, but with the newer refrigerators I haven't had any issues. If you need your fridge to open on the opposite side, you gotta do what you gotta do. In my opinion, if they weren't supposed to be reversed, they wouldn't make them with the possibility of opening on either side. They put the same holes on both sides, the hinges are reversible, so I don't see an issue with it. A little tech tip, If you reverse a door & you have a gap in your door seal, take a hair dryer across the seal to warm it up, use an object like a pen to go across the edge of the seal so it forms to the frame & then let it cool off in that position & don't open the door for a little while & it will mold to the new shape. @@michaeltrowbridge7174 Yep everything is all good over my way. My former company sold my property I was at in SC. I had the option to stay with the new owners at my property, or transfer to a different property with my former company which what they had available was in Georgia or Alabama & I didn't want to move to either of those states. So I reached out to one of my former managers who has been trying to get me to come work at the company she works & asked what was available & had some options to go to Florida, North Carolina or stay in SC. I chose the North Carolina property so I would be closer to my family back home in PA. Everything is working out well, I've been here since April when the contractors were finishing the last building. So I've been dealing with construction mistakes & warranty repairs. I have it of reports each week & monthly. I have a weekly property inspection report, warranty repair log, exterior lighting log, irrigation log, monthly property report, & of course the swimming pool log. Running service calls, getting the apartments ready for new move-ins, which you would think new construction the apartments are good to go but from sitting for several months there's cobwebs, hot water stinks, floor glue here & there on the floor, a few AC's, but mostly appliance issues. It's strange for me to go on a service call & know what the issue is & how to resolve it but can't touch it cuz it's under warranty & I don't have a lot of parts stocked yet as well. It's definitely a learning experience dealing with new construction. I never worked at a brand new lease up property, so I figured I would try it out. Lol

If you’re in a bind, and need to dry clothes. Try locking pliers or whatever they’re called too tired the little black piece

@@ejmartin4450 Yeah I know what your saying. It does work, but if you're not careful you can damage the plastic shaft of the timer. I actually had a few residents who damaged the plastic shaft, it was no longer shaped the way it was supposed to be & when I installed the new knob it would just spin since the shaft was rounded off.
