Always amazing watching a master craftsman/artisan at work... Now I'll just head out to HD with a $200k tool budget; Apprentice for 25yesrs (just to maintain tolerances during materials removal) and... No wait, at my age I'll be dead by then and I've already mortgaged my home twice. Thoroughly enjoyed watching the entire process!

An excellent demonstration of what has been a valued craft in years gone by and a shame that, today, in a 'want it now' society, we forget that quality is worth waiting for and this, ultimately is what the current generation don't realise is the way to reduce landfill and create sustainability!

While I agree that it's a shame this quality is rare now... I completely disagree that it's because we "want it now." In the USA, this door would cost thousands of dollars to make. That's why no one does it. They can't afford it.

Awesome shop. Using the shaper was a bit scary to me, you need a guard on that shaper. Excellent work - especially the mortise and tenon on the rails and styles. .

Excellent job very very detailed, its always a pleasure watch this kind of videos, I just didn't like the way you used tenons to secure the joints at minute 22:00, and then shows the dots, I think it was better to glue all joints that you mortised, but really ans awesome job.

In hot countries the wood shrinks and expands between seasons and glue alone is not enough. This technique helps secure the pieces to stay together.

Serious skills, serious equipment. So this is how a real door is made. I too would recommend a dust mask or respirator, and hearing protection. Wood dust is worse than smoking, and I'm sure you want to hear when you get older.

Hearing loss is more devastating than you can comprehend. Just imagine being with family at dinner and not hearing what people are saying, you’re totally out of the conversation. It makes a person feel very isolated and alone. And people want to talk to you but it’s impossible.

Dude! your craftsmanship is great. I literary watched the entire video for the first time. I am sure you have been told, please use protective gear (mask and ear stuff). الأبعاد تكون حسب رغبة الشخص هو في الفيديو شرح المراحل من تقطيع و تمليس وهي مسالة ضرورية لاي شي ليس للابواب فقط و ثاني شي قام بحفر الابعاد اللي محتاجها هو و عمل ألسنة تدخل في الحفر اللي قام بها وهي طريقة معتمدة عندنا في المغرب ايضا☺

That kind of panelling with those profiles require first class machines. Although, most of those machines are quite old, some of them perhaps 40 years. So maybe he got em on the cheap. Say 20.000 up to 50.000 in totall. New machines? All in all about 200 K. No more.
