Fun and games! I went to Change rear wiper and arm on my transporter this afternoon, should have been 2mins with 1 spanner but 40mins later with spanner, mole grips, wd40, stilson, blow torch, hammer, chisel, cloth and the dremel. The job was done! I only briefly set the rear of the van alight when a part I thought was metal was plastic but it’s survived! 😂😂😂😂

I feel your pain Keith, had similar issues with my current project but after a lot of fettling they are ok. I will be doing the same again on my next project which I will be starting soon due to the fact that the weather is stopping me painting my current project. Keep the videos coming as this one has just reminded me of things I forgot!

5:03 grind the channel back and add a new bit of steel in, glass will be fine!!

I might try that. I did buy a set for one side but I still need another so might try to fix it

Don't know what is going on at Mini Spares at the mo, so much out of stock, stupid stuff like rear Timkin bearings and their very own evo cones, no sign of when they will be back in stock!

We have the EVO cones at mini spares north. 100s of them. I think I’m correct in saying that the timken rears had a recall a few months ago.
