I used a rotary tool with a cutter wheel and it was super easy and left a pretty smooth edge.

I used a tile angle cutter box to cut the sweep. Thansk for the install vid. Have done it before and knew is was easy but it's nice to watch it done before you do work around the house.

My doors open to the inside. Does that change what side of the door you put the sweep on?

If you put it on the outside, it would probably bump into your threshold, so it would have to go on the inside

for the metal door, we need to drill the hole right but can use a similar door seal?

Yes, but they also do make stick on ones if you prefer to do that so you don't have to drill holes.

An inexpensive under $10 plastic miter box will help you keep saw cuts of small materials square or 90°, also 45°.

I don't know if you thought of this but your door hinges look like their on the outside and if they are anybody can remove the hinge bolts and remove the door from the outside to break into your house??

If you have the measurement of your cut; they will do a cut for you at Lowes. At least they do at mine.

Depends on if the ants are coming in through the door. We had an ant problems a while back and they were coming from where the wall meets the floor.
