Great Video Chris! I tried doordash for the last 4 weeks. - Way more negatives than positives for me - Either they have zero market penetration in my area or are oversubscribed with drivers. You earned more in a few hours than i did in a month.

Great video bro. Glad to see you add the km and fuel cost at the end, as those are definitely the killers for the $ per hour for me. If you were to count that towards your hourly rate, it would be $32.19 an hour which is still decent. Your Litres per 100km are roughly 9.31 from what I can see. So with a more fuel efficient care you could boost that hourly rate higher. I know hybrids have a crazy 3.8 litres per 100km. Still killing it regardless my dude. Keep up the great videos bro. I am based in Brisbane and fuel prices are killing me as I am driving a falcon. 14.6 litres per 100 for me. Horrible haha.

I am just off top dasher criteria so hope some good people give some tips on how I can reach my daily minimum. Looking forward to your responses :)

Hey Frank 🙂🙂 Your easiest way to $160 per day is generally your lunch and dinner runs. Some zones are busier than others, but doing 100 orders in a zone is the easiest way to learn it, and see what works and doesnt work 🙂🤘

Now that my top dasher trial has run out, I am getting the low paying deliveries and they usually take me out of zone. It’s not worth the $6 orders that I keep getting. Love your post. I tried my first dash yesterday. But how do you check order when you are driving…I end up just accepting whichever order came in cos I was driving. So I made like $26 after petrol cost in 2hrs……..I find myself need to drive back to hotspot again to get order. I had 2 APP open, but no order from uber, seems doordash is more popular? In Perth

Here in the states I try to dash no more than 10 hours a day with earnings usually of us$ 120-$150. Now that sound bad but the cost of living where i live is super cheap and it's actually better than having a regular job! For $13 /hr!

@@chrisbooy true 👍 i literally got $250 order the total I got paid was $49😎 which is a tank of gas /petrol on Saturday now mind you its the height of summer and july 4th holiday weekend in the states. Most orders were higher also because of peak pay! Not sure you get that in Australia either it add a extra $1-3 per order

Would be keen to see where you sit on the map. Hotspots only? Do you chase the hotspots? Do you have your own algorithm? My first week only taking 4 hours 3 hours etc, been up to an hour between deliveries in my residential... (quakers hill) but delivery $ were huge. $15 ish no stacked. I had to go to campbelltown for family business, worked from 7pm to 11pm. Made $49 but per delivery $ was putrid. I know the area and busy street kebabs and restaurants and knowing the area helps a lot. So i knew even though the hotspots rotate "refresh", i sort of knew by the previous orders, where would be the hotspots next. Long drawn out babble to my question, if its further than 10 minutes to the hotspot after a delivery, would you go there anyway? Knowing its greyed by the time you get there? I dont have the privilege of hotspots closer to the customer than where the order came from 😅 possibly why the higher $? Great content dude. 👌

I think there was definitely an increase in order volume due to the rain (combo of customers staying in to order, and some drivers just taking a day off too) which definitely removed some down time. Different zones will perform differently though.... how popular is the app to customers around you, how many drivers are out there.... and of course if its the right times to be dashing 🙂🤘 If DD doesnt work in your area... maybe try Uber Eats... or one of the other players 🙂🤘

@@chrisbooy yeah 100%. I’ve tried multiple times and peak sessions through DD and it’s not stood up. Signed up for Uber so will see how that goes. Uber Eats, Doordash and Jimmy Brings are the 3 Ive used. I stuck with DD and UE. In Sydney you would be guilty for choices. There would be consistent orders generally. I say to sign up to 1... use it for a month... sign up to another .... use it for a month... then pick the one that performs before in your area 🙂🤘... and you'll also have a backup app incase something goes wrong

Guys that dash or Uber eats, where the hell do you park when you pickup in a indoor shopping centre that only has multi level paid parking ? Everything on street is a nightmare, I’ve thought about the loading zones but what if I get ticket will app be enough to get out of it? I declined three orders yesterday cos it’s in a mongrel of a place and by the time you get the food back to the car and to the customer as well it’s defo cold! Then the ap pauses cos you declined too many!,,positive note I’m up to 100 deliveries! And where was the place you get best insulation bags from? My one is falling apart.😅

@@chrisbooy oh it’s cool if you’re a shopper, you just park and walk for miles, but as a deliverer the time to park, walk to shop, find shop go back to car, leave and deliver the foods cold imo. I’ve seen other dashers just double park illegally but it’s not worth the hassle if you get a fine.
