I've experience that with long mile orders. They hide it on stack orders. The full mileage will be the first order then the second they add the new mileage I had it happen I was a little mad it wasn't too much more but it was inconvenience when you bidding on orders. Based on miles

Happened to me. Customer was waiting For me. Said they tipped like 13 bucks. I accepted the order at two dollars because I knew something fishy going on. I normally wouldn’t take 2 dollar orders. But I knew the house. Was a repeat customer. A mansion on the lake. I hit complete order while she was standing next to me to see if I got the tip….the customer was pissed and went in and grabbed. 20 and tipped me with that instead. She called door dash and the restaurant and I did the same to try and see who did it. It wasn’t the restaurant. I filed a claim with support but obviously that lead to absolutely nothing. But yeah. There’s my story

I have a theory (backed up by no evidence whatsoever) and it's related to the "hidden tips" scam DD runs: Let's say I get an offer for $7.75 and I take it. At the end, DD shows me a pay out of $10. Wow! A hidden tip! That's great! But who's to say that the customer didn't tip $8, but rather $11. DD pockets the extra $3 but I'm so excited about the hidden tip I got that I will never know. The customer doesn't know that I didn't get the proper pay out and Tony is laughing all the way to the bank!

DoorDash is definitely stealing especially on 2 stop or add on orders. The reason i know this is i was delivering a car part from a further location from Napa for $22.50 and on the way to the location they added a pick up from another NAPA that im use to picking up and taking to the same location. That second pick up they usually give me $12-15 dollars for but tried to add it on as an extra $5. I declined!!! Door dash is definitely under investigation and they don’t know it. I see lawsuits coming soon!

The greatest!!! Yeah there was a few times on decent orders. I remember one coming in for 9$, then saying it was 8.50, but because of a program at the time i got +2 dollars to 10.50 (complete multiple orders). Not same as situation present here but im still confused how it went from 9 to 8.50 initially

Only time I ever had that happen, I was on stacked order n had to unassign from one of them n then it kept showing the bigger amount the whole time until I dropped the one order off. N then it added the smaller amount from the one I actually delivered.

DD gave me Fake total miles on a low offer of $3.50 McDonalds of 1.4 miles and it was actually 3.6 total miles. It ended up being a no tip order, that I thought was going to be a $1.50 tip order, I would not have taken no matter how short a distance as I NEVER take no tip orders. If it said 3.6 total miles from the jump I would have Declined. Not the first time total miles drastically change between the offer screen and actual completion.

oh man. Yeah. So I got a $5 for 4.1 mile offer. Took it, accepted the order, put in the GPS, started driving, realized about 5 minutes in that I was driving WAY too far. I ended up having to drive about 26 miles round trip, meaning I was out of the promotion zone for like 45 minutes. DD refused to do anything and told me to deleted and reinstall my app for the 5th time that week lol.

In my area they took away ability to see payout and tip until after dash ends. Then you can break it down in earnings tab. No visibility anymore at all. Just total at end of each trip. They are absolutely manipulating the base pay on shop and deliver. Tip good, base pay sucks. You make too much the hour before? Orders to follow are lower base pay, lower payout. There is no standard base pay for shopping. I see $4 for 33 items then $7 for 12 like WTF really?! They think their regular shoppers don't realize it??

It's either Doordash is stealing the tip and/or people that order from the restaurant app (but delivery goes through doordash), they put their tip in but the restaurant is taking it.

I did ebt for an hour and a half once where it seemed like the time I was active wasn't calculated. The orders definitely didn't have any tips. I wonder if that is becoming a thing. I'm a fast driver sometimes but not that fast. 🤔

I had a large pizza delivery that was made by mistake. The lady ordered twice because they told her the first order was canceled. She tipped twice. When I got to her house, she explained what happened and how I ended up delivering 12 boxes of pizza wings and desserts.. She offered me pizza and asked if I received my tips on each delivery. Both tips said 0.00🤔

One of its new components lately is it says how much for this order - what I accepted and I don’t usually get doubles. but when I complete the order this order is gone but my total is still zero. like that other number disappeared. Well, I don’t know if somethings going on I’m not gonna keep working for free like without addressing that first. Yet every time as soon as I hit “end dash,” it gets deposited. So like in the future on days where it’s not gonna be so simple to just hit “dash now” again - which is most of the time this year in my area when I can see, - and I just hope that they add up, even though it says total zero? I guess next time I’ll try it and do a second delivery before I call it quits and see what happens or if it shows up in a few minutes. It just freaks me out when I’m like working for gas money or something.

All you have to do is go to ur homescreen after the dash is dropped off n then return to dash n it will show up. I have to do that after every dash so I formed a habit of checking my stats after every dash. Lol.

This has happened to me about 5-10 times. Usually high pay orders of $10+. Usually when I'm busy. Today Doordash made money. The tip from lady was $14. She added on to her original order but doordash made it 2 separate. The stpre gave all the orders to the first driver. So the 1st driver brought customer both her orders and I got half of my delivery fee of $7. Doordash kept the remaining $7😂

I’ve wondered about the double dash crap. This guy orders Taco Bell and tips well. Like $6. The other day I took a DG shop cause I was right there and it was two items. $6.00. Then I see who it is and think oh yeah cool they hid some this guys tip. Marked it delivered and it’s still $6. But as I’m leaving another driver pulls up. Yeah I bet dude had his Taco Bell this time. First! Why are they always splitting up double dash? That is wasteful and disrespectful. Having two different people drive a car to the same house???
