Mate as a new driver I love your vids! I just noticed the bell icon thtat, when clicked, seeks to verify my DL and rego. Loving my new gig but had a wee sucky moment yesterday when nav went nuts and couldn't GPS locate me. Then crashed on my (last for the day after this) delivery. Saw a side of DD I didn't particularly like as support was a joke. Hoping this was a one off. Any vids on gripes with app or tips n tricks *if you haven't already done) would be a great help. Thanks for sharing your knowledge!!

My gripe videos come through in waves haha. For GPS issues, if its for the customer address try punch it into Google Maps direct. Some of the annoying glitches can be when the street address for restaurants gets whiped and it tries to send you into the middle of the postcode, but over time you will learn where your restaurants are and you wont even use the maps to get there :P

Chris you need to replace the word STREAK with the word BRIBE. In the U.S I've seen extra $8 for 5 trips and they'll screw you over to get it.

Streaks where great this weekend. I find with promos everyone from other area's flock to your zone so eve if there is a promo on for $2 per order theres way to many drivers so its not worth it. Atleast this way its fair and we all get little bit in our pockets. Only thing i have a problem with is app spaz on me and ended my dash without me doing it and i had one to go for another $8 but nope. So that needs to be fixed. With the woolies thing i hope its a shop and deliver thing because click and collect is bad for woolies. Alot of places been to customers get studf brought out to them but i gotta go in the shop with a trolly and go to the back room to pick up the bags. No thank u lol. Other then that had a great weekend. Was making close to $50 an hr in some parts.

DD must have listened to someone. I haven’t done much DD this year as they didn’t pay well. This weekend I’ve had quiet a few Coles shops which paid similar to Uber Coles. Let’s hope it continues

People can say what they want but this is defo not a bad thing, in Feb-Apr i had many weeks where I made $5-900/week extra from uber quests, Ive maxxed out my quests and made $770 August 1st to September 21st and Sept 22nd to October 12th, zero quests, that's despite 99% satisfaction rating, a acceptance rate that varies from 73 to 97% and cancellation rate of 0-4%, taking orders in eight different maps as well. I recently moved from ios to android, is anyone in one on the challenge beta? Anyway ive seen your videos before, came here for the dasher email today, great work Chris 👍

The only thing I have seen is the verify license and rego (I got the email yesterday). I clicked on the link provided and after that I didn't have to do anything, it just thanked me and said it was all done. I didn't have to upload anything. Hopefully it worked OK.

Hey Chris. I drive Uber eats but didn't get any notification about updating license or rego details. They have been trying to get me to sign up to deliver alcohol though, no chance of that happening, not unless they're paying $100 per job. 🤣💲💲💲👍 Hey, those two guys at the end are funny. 😉

Hope this is gonna make it worthwhile since I havent received any quests from Uber eats for the past 2 months (since start of August). Dont know if it has to do with being on Diamond but it pisses me off!

Same here had none since I restarted doing ubereats couple months ago - used to get them 2 x week - mon to thurs and fri - sun plus night only ones too - would help with fuel and incentive to keep doing my 10-12hr shifts daily with reward for effort

Yeah hope they come back. Have you tried staying off diamond? like not doing uber for a while so you get back in green to see if they come back?

I was diamond til January then had health issues so couldn't do uber - then started back in august doing the daily - did 21 days straight of 12hrs - not 1 quest - no incentives to come back n drive - I've backed off a little past couple weeks - still nothing - on the GC - when used to get them all the time when diamond last year -

Just signed up to DD today coz of seeing these vids so once approved (hopefully tomorrow) and see if DD offer anything better atm and I like the coles jobs on uber so I like the option DD have only shopping jobs... like it'll help supplement my day when uber is being crap - obviously if quests come back I'll be smashing out the jobs - and no coles jobs unless very few items coz gotta smash quests. I have menulog but noticed huge drop off - like used to get 10 - 12 orders each 4hr block now it's more like 5 - so think DD have taken over menulog now and obviously more job options

@user-rh8wk5nh2s I signed up for menulog 2 weeks ago but have not tried it yet. Doordash is good as a supplement to uber but the bad thing is you will not get paid for waiting (no matter how long you wait, they tell you that) and also the payments seem a bit lower than uber.

What about fuel costs though? Is worth it or do you dip onto your own pocket for fuel costs

I dont like the price of fuel right now (I dont think anyone does). If you are earning $25-40 an hour, you aren't spending all of that on fuel (I ran the maths and even a V8 Landcruiser towing a caravan cant burn those numbers haha). It is definitely burning into profit though. When I started it was around $1.20-1.40 per liter.... saw $2.15 at the bowser this morning.
