I don't understand why some merchants don't make your order until you arrive that defeats the entire purpose of an online order. The point is for it to be ready when you or the delivery guy arrives but hey we're talking about people that are flipping burgers for a living. I think expecting for fast food cooks to have common sense is to high of an expectation

If I find myself constantly waiting 10mins+ because these assholes didn't start the order until AFTER I ARRIVED, I'll accept the order, sit in the parking lot for 15min, keep hittin that "still waiting on the food to be ready" button, then text the customer, tellin them they still makin the food, wait ANOTHER 15min in the parking lot, then text the customer that they playin' and I gotta unassign. You wanna play games, Chic-Fil-A? You wanna play games Popeye's? I see you. I can play games too.

Sometimes I take those $40+ Walmart offers. But only if I'm getting $1.25 a mile or better. If you can deliver to mostly houses and avoid apartments it's not too bad. These are ideal to do during slow times (Monday-Thurs before dinnertime) because it gets you $20ish an hour that you likely wouldnt make doing something else. You can even keep UberEats and Doordash running and try to squeeze in a quick delivery during them

I was sent a single pick up double drop off for $3.75 and it was during $1 peak pay. I didn't even notice the mileage because I saw the money and said hell to the no! But that was a rare occurrence anymore. I seem to be a preferred shopper lately and am making decent money shopping for door dash.

Yeah I don’t do Walmart anymore. I barely do Instacart unless they tip 18% because I can make more per hour doing ue and dd in upscale areas. $2 per mile. I made $102 in 3 hours and 6 trips. 5 ue at $53 and 1 ic at $49 all low miles.

Something we all need to be aware of: Door Dash (and I'm sure the others) suggests tip amounts. Most customers won't bother with going in and upping a dollar amount (unless they're changing it to ZERO!), rather just punch one of the choices that's showing. They don't sit there and calculate miles and size of the order and what not. Door Dash suggests a $4 tip? That's fine by me. $4 it is. It's hard to blame the customer but I still won't take an offer if it's too low.
