It's Panera's fault. Every company should have someone that shuts off former employees access to everything involving the company. That includes all login passwords. Someone at Panera screwed up and this person took advantage for as long as they could. It was still very foolish seeing it was all going to be traced back to them.

My CHICKFILA had a practice of marking the order completed at the time of boxing -- meaning you have to wait for them to bag it up - and if bagging is backed up -- too bad. I threatened to tell the owners of their deception - pointing out these are God-fearing peoples probably would not stand for lying to customers and drivers and deceiving the owners to earn larger bonuses. It has not happened since.

I thought he would’ve done something different tbh. If the store ran off a tablet, he could’ve replaced the tablet with his own, open up his own franchise under DoorDash and take all the money from the sales, then put the original tablet back. I don’t know if they could track it. They’d need to have footage of someone doing that. I should stop coming up with ideas 😂

That's no dollar per minute net profit... at best, it's 60 pennies per minute. That's with no dead-head back... and that ain't always the situation, is it? Best case, highway miles at gross $1 per mile end up netting $0.30 per mile. 30 pennies a minute is $18 an hour... IF 100% of time is spent driving highway miles. And no... Restaurant wait times. Parking lot times. Average speed when not on uncongested highways. Delivery upon arrival times. You'd be better off "fishing". I net the same, or more than you, and I get 40 minutes off per hour. The 20 minutes an hour I drive pay a LOT for low and slow miles... and the other 40 minutes are mine for free.
